Except yes they are, because they want to believe what celebs from Pedowood (especially those visiting Epstein's Island) would say. Then again, they're the same asshats who believe they can't own land

I half expect ES6 to force a voiced protagonist on the player. They did it in Fallout 4, and very nearly did it in Starfield, so it'd track with them.

Given how most of the races would need a separate voice actor, and then double it for both genders, I'd be surprised. On the other hand, I wouldn't even be shocked if they went the lazy route and had all races done by one voice actor for male and female. Imagine a Khajiit with the voice of a standard white guy.

It'd be pretty dumb at this point, especially after they relented with Starfield.

I am honestly surprised so many people seem to think there is going to be some major changes with Elder Scrolls VI at this point. If Fallout 76 and Starfield were nearly the disasters that they are made out to be, you'd think that Bethesda would be playing it absolutely safe with ESVI to the point that it's just Skyrim 2.

Bethesda has 2 options:
1. Trust pagliarulo again and release a game that at best will be more of a fallout 4 with medieval setting and non-speaking main character, once more keeping with that completely outdated wast as an ocean shallow as a puddle ideal that may or may not attract waves of players currently suffering open world fatigue that made an exception only for a game with a giant ass seal of quality and George R. Martin's involvement.
2. Do market research to see what players wants and inevitably ripping off from software or mods inspired by From's game approach. This could easily lead to the most retarded approach as someone with the brain capacity of pagliarulo will completely misunderstand what makes From's games so good, resulting in a game that is frustrating to play due to unfair difficulty and a bad combat system, set in a depressing wasteland with a lackluster and minimalist story.

> use vulnerability spells to make bretons weak to magic
> force orcs to fight ogres
> use damage personality magic/poison against imperials
Exclusively use Frenzy related spells on Orcs. According to the "politically enlightened" Orcs are black people. So that means we're just making them more inclusive by making them even more like the average NigNog.
Anyone has any more suggestions, ideas, lore to post, feel free.
Love lore talks, haven't read any of the other points yet but off the top of my head, I'd say more Khajiit would join the Imperials due to their "debt" to the Thalmor "restoring their moons." Not to mention how Stormcloaks, while not completely shunning the beast races (even Altmer, or more specifically a Dragonborn Altmer, can join them), they're not exactly the most friendly with them. Khajiit are also largely treated with suspicion due to their tendences to sell drugs and steal your shit. However I can see any Khajiit who finds the truth about that situation might join the Stormcloaks (if not form/join Khajiit specific organizations) to fight against them. After all, Khajiit society is fairly heterogeneous by nature due to the moons changing their entire sub-species. As for Argonians...yeah nah. I can't see them join anyone but the Imperials, if even them. Imga already dick-ride the Altmer so that's an easy answer, unless there's some like Marukh where I can't see those like him dick-ride the Thalmor, but I can still see Imga like him joining the Imperials. What'd be really interesting is what'll happen after the "Mongrel dogs of the Empire" inevitably break away from the Thalmor once they recover. I can see many Khajiit and Imga defecting to the Thalmor, but Argonians? Either they'll break away for personal reasons or remain on the Empire's side.
Khajiit are usually shown to be extremely pragmatic, abandoning allies when a battle goes awry (they expect this of their allies, too tbf).
I'm not 100% sure about that, there are examples of Khajiit being quite the fearsome and disciplined warriors, the warriors of Anequina or Ne Quin-al under the Warlord Darloc Brae for example. They are pragmatic but I'm not sure so many would just abandon their allies once shit hits the fan. As I mentioned earlier, some may join the Stormcloaks but given how infamous the Thalmor are at covering their wicked deeds, that won't be many, and I can see any Khajiit finding out and spreading said truth will find themselves the Elder Scrolls equivalent of Black Van'd. I also wouldn't call Khajiit enslaved or indentured servants, they can be instead used for the more dirty work such as the aforementioned "black vaning" or just general military/civilian roles. Not to mention the different forms of Khajiit that can be used in different ways, sterotypical (blame Bethesda) Khajiit can be used for espionage or mercantilism, Alfiq for magical work (or again, mercantilism, Senche can potentially be used as asymmetrical cavalry or scouting, Senche-raht even more so due to their stouter yet burly bodies, Pahmar-raht being a hell of a shock troop, I could go on. And I highly doubt most Khajiit will defy the wishes of the Mane, let alone let him be assassinated should he be a problem for the Thalmor (though they might find a way to corrupt a Mane like the unnamed "Dark Mane" but more towards their goals), assuming said Mane isn't weak and unworthy. I could go on.
>implying the lefties haven't been racist from 2015 onward
"But see, our racism is morally superior!"
Isn't this nigga just the writer?
1 hour long, by the infamous (due to the length of his related videos and "negativity" as the shills say) Cretoosis, I think PatricianTV also mentioned him. But yeah, he's way too high up in the writing business for someone who got his start doing pretty good level design exclusively(?). He simply got promoted to the wrong role.

He was the lead designer/writer of Fallout 3/4 and Starfield, the designer/writer of Oblivion's Dark Brotherhood and Arena and Skyrim's Dark Brotherhood questlines, and lead writer for Fallout 76.

His career is like a train crash that just won't stop.
There's a lot to say against him, while people loved Oblivion's arena and dark brotherhood questlines, he really fucked shit up when it comes to fallout games.
Skyrim's dark brotherhood was by many considered the best guild in term of questline and characters, but honestly speaking, the side contracts are trash, the only 2 memorbale quests are the one about Cicero and the final one due to its scope and after the attack on the sanctuary, you lose all of those colorful characters but the most boring ones and, if you spared him, Cicero.
The whole thing with embraging the nightmother is just disgusting, and being randomly chosen as listener was nothing short of lazy writing.
Still better than the thieves guild I guess, at least you aren't forced to fight falmers, become a nightingale and forfeit the skeleton key...

Its ok, if they can convince from soft to publish it in name only nobody will be able to tell the difference.

The arena was shit and even my 13 year old self playing it for the first time hated it. The only thing it had going for it was it was mercifully short. I'm not sure who loved it but they should be kicked in the shins.
13 year old self was entertained because of the silly AI and the anticipation of what kind of a match up you had for the next match.
I might have been easy to please though, I spent like an hour or so just betting on arena matches and looking at the AI have a go on one another.
Now I probably need mods to make it more interesting, like a battle against a battlemage that uses AOE frost spells, or an archer with paralysis arrows. Dude with sword and shield, or two dudes with axes just don't cut it anymore. I remember having this one mod where you had group brawls where there was like 8 dude free for all in the arena with shit like spells, summons, poison weapons, and a pet wolf

People always forget how the back half (the part with an actual story) shit the bed. If the pre- and post- Cleansing were separate guilds, post- would be hands down the worst guild questline in the series.
True, black hand quests are compelte trash, but people look back at the first half and do admit they enjoyed them both overall and the inside of the lighthouse was genuinely well made.

The arena was pretty barebone in term of questline, but some of the opponents felt different than most NPC encounters, which may have given players enjoyement.
The gray prince allowing you to kill him if you did his quest tho was truly retarded.
First thing that greets you when you join the Skyrim: Extended Cut Discord lmao

Modders should do a transgender themed spells that produces a blue-pink-white flame that when used on enemies, damages the caster instead.

Sorry if this is off-topic but does anyone else remember Altmer having really long life spans ( by long I mean they could live to be a thousand years old)? I am trying to look through UESP but all the sources are from Q&As from ESO writers which I refuse to accept as real lore.

I was always under the perception that the Altmeri were such snobby pricks because they had a society that was hyper-fixated on perfection to the point where they practiced eugenics, had a god that taught them how to breathe more efficiently and Alinor was built in a way that made the whole city a giant work of art. The long life span added to this since say, an Altmer artist had been practicing their craft for hundreds of years, mentored by a master who has done the same, and surrounded by numerous products created by similar artisans (musicians, poets, sculptors, blacksmiths etc.) so when they end up in a wood shack in Skyrim and get shown the artwork of an "amazing" nord artist who is 50 years old, to them it's like a 5-year-old is trying to argue that their retarded crayon drawing should be included in the Louvre. It's insulting to the Altmer and speaks to the patheticness of Man (from an Altmeri perspective.)

I just felt that the huge age gap made it understandable arrogance that made them more sympathetic. I could have pulled that out of my ass but, I could have sworn it was cannon at one point and I seem to catch little snippets of it but It's so hard to verify since all the ESO junk seems to overwrite the old lore and makes it harder to track down.

During the part of Oblivion's main quest where the player is tasked with tracking down the commentaries on the mysterium xarxes, the retarded argonian librarian at the arcane university makes an offhanded remark about being unsure if the Mankar Camoran that authored the texts is the same as the one existing in the present day but that altmer are extremely long lived and one never knows. I'd take that as confirmation that banana boys live a long ass time. He lived ~450 Tamrielic years and likely would have lived longer had he not been killed, although he was Dagon's champion and the effect that might have had on his lifespan is up for debate.

edit: a word
