I don't give a damn about Oblivion but I wish this misconception went away.
Archery and daggers aren't "dex-based" or anything, they require
strength and women suck at those, too. This makes the chud rEaLiZm argument ("women can't be frontline fighters in fiction because they'd suck at it") stupid, chuds should find their balls and admit they don't like the

.
Realistically, women can get an advantage in stealth, lockpicking, pickpocketing, disguise, maybe perception, dodge (smaller size), and have matched endurance and horsemanship. Also, magic, because realism doesn't apply here, but I don't like fighter bois wizard gurls (a single magic power stat would heavily incentivize wizard girls), these side advantages are enough motivation to make a wizard girl should you be so inclined, without a sex-based bonus to magic. Women are strictly worse than men at most other physical tasks, even the "girly" stuff like acrobatics. If men did women's fancy sparkly gymnastics, they'd win.
If you want to make realistic sex-differentiated stats, there are (generally speaking) three options:
- have the balls to just give women the appropriate penalties, make it hard mode.
- do not give bonuses/penalties, have point buy from a single baseline and stat caps at character creation and make men's physical caps higher.
- do nothing to the player character but generate NPCs accordingly, so that the PC is an exceptional individual but the world is realistic (singleplayer games only).
Grooming, too. They want the troonshit in children's faces.
