It does not matter when it releases or how good or bad it is, I will not buy after they made the post disparaging Charlie Kirk on their official twitteraccount.

They can ask their leftist buddies to buy a copy.
You could always pirate Microsofesda's single player game. The real question will be whether or not it's worth playing. Which could be a "No" initially but change to a "Yes" after modders have had a few years with it.

There is no benefit to "remaster" Morrowind. The game is perfect as it is, giving it Unreal Engine graphics would just make it so much worse.
I'm late, but I posit that remake/remasters should never be a consideration in first place. A rerelease with QoL bug fixes like Skyrim LE > SE > AE should be enough.
I've had more than 1000 hours spent in original Oblivion and I can hardly make it past 2 hours in the Remaster. There's this voice in the back of my head screaming "It feels off, don't like it" and refunded the game.

Haven't paid attention to the thread for a bit, who did that this time?
Speaking of retards at Bethesda:
They put out this xeet in response to the ongoing drama.

The geniuses of Bethesda have decided to call you a fascist for thinking the Kirk shooting might have been bad. Naturally, they pussied out and deleted it before I could archive it.
Ah...well I wasn't going to buy anything from them anytime soon from anywhere anyway so have fun digging your grave faster Bethesda.
yet people still line up and pay $70 day one like it’s normal.

What other group of people would willingly buy a product that doesn’t fucking work from people that hate you over and over again for FULL price, then shrug and say: “they will fix it later!!1"
Sometimes they'll buy it even earlier than day one. Normies are interesting creatures, if they are given the opportunity, just a mere moment in their entire lives, to maybe-just maybe- they can live without a specific thing, you'll realize it's hopeless. Their eyes glaze over, they might call you "extra" or whatever niggercattle term is floating around this hour, some might even get angry that you dare to suggest such a thing. You could tell them everything from your post, you can show them evidence of it, and...you'll realize they stopped listening as soon as you opened your mouth.
They do not care, they want to drop their money on the shiny new media, consume it like food, and forget they even played it. And everyone else with a brain has to suffer from it one way or another. Doesn't matter if you haven't touched a game made within the last decade, soon or later, if you aren't already, you will feel the cost of the niggercattle's apathy.

What, you're not interested in playing the demaster for 1400 hours, even tho it barely has any meaningful mods compared to the original and is generally an inferior experience? Not sure if you're a real fan. I bet you know how to install mods without them breaking the game on the original, something I remember was told to me to be impossible when this game was being shilled here.

Demons' Souls remake taught me otherwise.
I'm starting to understand why I don't like it. They all look the same. Doesn't matter which game engine full of shit it's being "remade" or "remastered" on, the art direction of these tasteless hacks at Bluepoint and Virtuos shares the same design language that's massively inferior than the original.
That aside, once I'm out in the overworld, all kind of performance issues starts to pop up. Coincidentally, I also got recommended a video that pretty sums up all the performance problem I have with it.

I fucking dread the day Bethesda decides to scrap TES6 on CE and redo everything on UE instead. It would be the easiest 60$/70$/80$ saving of my entire life.

Todd would rather scoop out his own eyeballs out with a spoon than tell the all the pissy faggots and troons on the dev team to use anything other than Gamebryo.

For some reason, I have this evidence-less memory of a rumor that he floated moving away from it somewhere in Skyrim pre-production, and he faced a mass quitting. But God forbid they go the middle route and make an in-house engine that does what they want but isn't held together with Elmer's glue and swizzle sticks.

Making an engine in-house requires levels of knowledge and passion for the field that are practically extinct amongst most game devs nowadays, and certainly within Bethesda. They likely couldn't manage it even if they wanted to.

I think people *really* underestimate how hard it would be for them just to make a new engine that is "better".
people really are fucking retarded and ignore they have been expecting modders to fix their shit since skyrim and this is one of the main reasons they outright refuse to use another engine because that's how gamebyro works and not how unreal, unity and even godot works.
especially with creation club, easy bet microjeet would rather spill the beans about every single spyware there is on jeetindows than tell bethesda to use another game engine that doesn't let them monetize mods.

They haven't been 'expecting' modders to fix shit, every action they take to modify the engine in anyway actively discourages modding. They'd love nothing more than to have an engine like UE where the only thing you could customize is fancy hats for 20$ like they've been trying to do recently with their last four games.

Have you already forgotten Starfield's optimization? It ran like absolute dogshit and they managed that without UE5. Either way TESVI is doomed in that regard.

Pretty sure Morrowind was the first time I heard them openly say they expected modders to do all the clean-up work. Maybe that was just Carmack saying they weren't bothering making Quake III more than a skeleton of a game since modders would do all the work.
