I'm surprised some people can't manually install mods for a game like elder scrolls, how fucking rotten does your brain have to be if you can't just drag and drop an ESP file in the right spot. The only time a manual install is kinda annoying is if it replaces textures or audio in the base files and that's only an issue if you ever want to uninstall.
Depends. Sometimes I still need to open xedit to fix something, using better vampires with a custom race comes to mind as an example. There are situations where troubleshooting is basically impossible if you don't understand how records work.

Does anyone know offhand if they fixed the Mannimarco fight in the remaster at all?

I was just reminded of how fucking retarded/no QC Bethesda did for it with the original release but don't feel like spending a lot of time reinstalling and trying to run through the mages guild

It was untouched, his build is fucked as it always was. I'm pretty sure the level scaling in general was just copy-pasted.

Against my better judgment I listened to a female acquaintance of mine and (re)installed TESO after not playing it for like 5 years because she told me they added spellcrafting and offclassing.
I was focused on getting the most braindead version of a 2H skill for my nord using a big hammer, but that required getting a physical damage mod first, which meant dealing with some dragon aspect or whatever. When I first engaged with the dragon, it had an obviously male voice. Fine, whatever I thought, the performance was shit and uninspired, but it didn't hinder me in any way. Later down the questline one of the other NPCs involved suddenly revealed to the dragon as a she. Gears clicked and I immediately alt-tabbed and googled the VA for the dragon.
Sure enough, it was a fucking tranny.

Stunning and brave. Just look at those feminine broad shoulders, massive hands and nonexistent waist, mister Shaved Keanu Reeves with Makeup On.

We getting our Elder Scrolls updates from GQ now:

Wccftech: The Elder Scrolls VI Is Still A Long Way Off, Says Todd Howard, Who Preaches Patience But Would Love the Game to ‘Just Appear’ Eventually (archive)
Despite being largely an interview about Fallout 4 (the Anniversary Edition, which celebrates the game's tenth birthday, launches today), the article published today on GQ, featuring a conversation with Todd Howard, actually begins with The Elder Scrolls VI.

The game designer obviously knew that questions about the most anticipated game in Bethesda's pipeline would abound and prefaces the whole interview with the notion that the next iteration in The Elder Scrolls franchise is 'still a long way off', before adding that he's preaching patience to fans. Howard then admits that it's been too long since Skyrim, which launched in November 2011, but adds that the team as a whole needed a 'creative reset', which they tried to accomplish with Starfield and its different setting.

GQ: Todd Howard on 10 years of Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls 6: 'We needed a creative reset' (archive)
The other one is: over time, anniversaries like this happen, and it’s a reminder of how important these games are to people. We’ve done some stuff just yesterday with Make-A-Wish Foundation.

What were you doing with Make-A-Wish?

We did an auction to make a character in [The Elder Scrolls 6]. A group of fans pulled their money together – like a lot of money – to donate to Make-A-Wish for us to make a character in someone’s honour. We spent an hour-and-a-half or so for them to tell us about their character, talk about the game, about why they love The Elder Scrolls, what they want to see from a new one… I think we’re aligned. Then, the afternoon was a three-hour play test of The Elder Scrolls 6. I do have to add though…

frostbreak has finally finished being reamed by redguard
honestly, no one deserves to suffer through redguard.

LTTP but i've just booted skyrim for the first time in two years, I fancied a mooch about in a nice world with nice music while I twatted big things with clubs.

It's all changed. The menu is different, there's no mods, no unofficial patch, no skyui. What the fuck?

Please tell me I'm being a spastic and they haven't ruined this? Nexus mods is also worse than it was two years ago. Why can't people leave well alone?

update your mods, dumb nigger.
at least there's one thing pirates don't have to worry much, having their game updated and their mods broken.

The mod screen from the main menu has disappeared and the mods that used to work are no longer there you fucking mong. Read the post.

However, after trying for 30 minutes to get the old shit working again, I've decided to get the fitgirl AE edition.

skill issue :smug:
should have bought the anniversary edition again.
He's a retard that got so assmad that I trolled him in the conspiracy thread for believing the UK government is poisoning dogs through dog food for some reason that he put me on ignore. Too bad for him since I'm one of the most experienced Skyrim modders here and could have solved his problem.

What a pointless, miserable existence you must live in real life.

The issue is solved and if anyone ITT has a similar issue fire me a DM and I'll help in any way I can.

Because people made modloaders and converters and shit that require you to make an account, arrange load order and edit notepad files just to "uhh drag drop esp files".

this is why people are told to use Mod Organizer 2 and Wabbajack Unlocked as it has no such retarded requirements, also a shitty throwaway account to download nexus mods if they aren't on other modding sites, just don't interact with the crazies and you won't risk getting banned.

Yeah, i'm using that specific branch of Wabbajack since right here one of you fuckers told about that.

I was watching Fleekazoid's review on Bloodlines 2 when I saw another review in my recommended. I saw the name Craftian and thought I recognized it, sure enough after a bit into the video he mentioned his part in the mod Old Blood for Skyrim (though you may recognize his other mods. I'm linking to his itch.io because a few months ago some shit went down and he deleted his entire Nexus profile (and thus all his mods), while there are several archives I find linking a first party source to be better.

Have not watched it or really looked too deep into it because whogivesafuck so I may be very wrong, but from what I gather from skimming and hearsay, the VA for his Celestine mod was asked to voice a Beyond Reach addon for the character, Beyond Reach is a dark mod with dark themes (I've seen many people cry about that, they're usually the "usual suspects") so she said no, he sperged out, jannies told him to take it elsewhere, he sperged out harder and said everyone was out to get him, it escalated into him removing his mods off Nexus and host them elsewhere. Good, Nexus sucks. While I don't know what the original script said, some mentioned they didn't see anything noticeably wrong with it, but because it was dark (again, Beyond Reach), even if it seemingly had good character development for the follower and sounded good from what people had seen themselves (again I not seen the script myself), it was too much for the sensitive VA.

Reactions to the drama were mixed it, but personally I saw more people in support for the guy when actual discussion took place after the top snarky posts expected from plebbitors. Some even believing his departure from Nexus being good since it was clearly getting to him and even plebbitors know Nexus is a shithole. Some however claimed that the mod author mistreated the VAs he worked with, but between the sensitivity of some of the VAs (will mention that more later), one of the more seemingly normal VAs expressing their positive experience from him (maybe more but I haven't checked that much), some of the other VAs' (such as the Celestine VA herself iirc) lack of professionalism and just failure to have a stable timeframe, I think the accusation "mistreatment" is just pussies being pussies that they can't put off work until they feel like working.

Craftian himself makes content on YouTube picking apart games and sharing his opinion on a variety of others, because of this the aforementioned drama (now largely dead because it was just a lot of nonsense) was twisted a bit by one or more aforementioned former VAs that worked with him. Why? Because he dared to talk about Tumblrfags, Critical Role cultists, and fags in general ruining shit is a no-no so that's an excuse to try and shit on his reputation. Funniest part, most of what this stems from is from an actually quite mild video, yeah, singular. But even mild is spicy to the Tumblrite. My advice for him? Work with people who gives reasonable timeframes, are known to complete work within a deadline, and have worked on things of heavy themes. Might be harder than it sounds...
I also seemed to have missed some spergery over Vortex and MO2. If you use Vortex for large, complex mod lists, that's your prerogative. Just know you're fucking yourself over in the long run, especially for a mod manager that's soon to go the way of the old NMM, a mod manager I'd still use over Vortex if held at gunpoint between choosing the two because that's how shit Vortex is.

:cryblood: Not to say you shouldn't listen to females ever but unless your getting something from them, some things are just not worth doing. Playing games for one thing, then again I've only had horrific experiences with even the most normal ones so I'm incredibly biased and I do not care.
Thought it was what it actually said, but close enough to make a simple edit. :story:

Every time I see this retard pop up I know I'm going to lose a few brain cells from the intro alone, also lol this nigger played Vigilant of all mods. Color me shocked he could handle it enough to praise it (from the title at least). He still beat Redguard, which I at least applaud at given what kind of brainlet he is, but then I'm reminded that he shot himself in the foot with his New Vegas experience and could not fathom the idea of modding to fix his issues (he was following the well known guide Viva New Vegas, holy shit this guy is hopeless) and any shred of respect I gained just then is now gone. I mean, judging from the comments and what I saw from the video, it was like this guy was running on a potato with fucked up drivers, because according to him but the Steam and Epic (lol) version of it had issues.
His impetence at the technical side of games is only outmatched (and heavily) by his incompetence of...existing. The Mr.House part started a riot.

People say he's rage baiting, but no. Niggercattle are just retarded more often than not. But I digress,
Considering how long Starfield took to make (development started in 2015, so nearly a decade), and ES6 only starting early development around the time Starfield was """finished,""" expect it to be unironically in the mid to late 2030's.
>Die before completion or live to be disappointed
If they made a make-a-wish for ES6 to have themselves in the game, after all the shit Bethesda has released, they won't be disappointed no matter what they shit out.
