I think my plan for the civil war, if I wanted to leave the winner more or less inconclusive, would be for a coup to happen in Cyrodil that overthrew the Mede Dynasty/Thalmor, and thus leaving no real reason for the empire and stormcloaks to be fighting each other.
Considering the emperor gets assassinated, a new dynasty is in the cards anyway.

Do the Stormcloaks actually have a realistic chance of winning? I remember in all the videos I used to watch about it, all the conclusions came to the Empire would win and should win. This was one of the videos I remember.
It's not even about "winning" but holding power.

The Empire can't be devoting resources to Skyrim endlessly. Even if they kill Ulfric, the insurgency doesn't just die with him. This is actually true in the game as both Stormcloak and Imperial camps don't just go away, and a moot is never actually held.

But on the other side, I don't think the Stormcloaks can manage Skyrim without Imperial trade. Even if the Empire withdraws, what stops their supporters from starting their own insurgency? Or even Stormcloak supporters when there isn't any food?

If it was me and I had to make a call right now? Tullius and Ulfric both vaguely die in the war. With Emperor Mede dead as well, the Empire ends up having to withdraw most support back to Cyrodiil.

Either someone unites Skyrim and treats with the new ruler of the Empire, most likely becoming independant but maintaining trade and political agreements. Or with both "leaders" dead, Skyrim devolves into further war. Have multiple warlords vying for control of the holds, throw the Forsworn in there for good measure.

I mean, they literally blew Morrowind the fuck up, why wouldn't Skyrim be worse off in ESVI?

>Morrowind "veteran" plays DLC for "first time" (technically never touched Tribunal, barely played Bloodmoon)
>Played it for decades
>Only has "hundreds" of hours
>Still has never touched Morag Tong, Thieves Guild, or Hlaalu
>Only ever plays one style (great sword, only overheads at that)
>Doesn't like Bloodmoon but eh

Honestly I just don't think he likes anything werewolf related since he tends to glaze vampire stuff. He shilled that disaster Bloodlines II (he cried he wasn't a shill since he wasn't paid, not realizing getting paid with a video game is still getting paid) and loves Princes of Darkness iirc (which is a pretty fine mod so eh), not sure. I also now realize that literally anything that isn't CK3 from him just fucking sucks, realized that with his VtM:BII video and now I dared to watch something not CK3 related and 30 seconds in I get flashbanged with nonsense.

Mild PL, but once when I was part of a CK3 mod team, he messaged me out of the blue to ask for access to what we were working on so he could promote it. Naturally I hate parasites like that so I said no, and the fucker got so pissy with me about how he "just wanted to help [us]" among other things. Anyway, I have barely touched Bloodmoon myself, but that is more because I prefer TR and PT, and Bloodmoon is end-game content, and I typically make a character to do a specific faction questline rather than just suck up all the content I can, so I typically stop playing a character long before I would be at the level to not have fucking spriggans rape me to death, I hate them so much.

The Empire will inevitably strike the Thalmor,
The Thalmor practically run the empire now. It's like expecting America to strike out at Israel "eventually". Not happening.

If we assume that all guild questlines happen in some fashion, The Emperor also gets fucking assassinated.

In my mind, the series has been setting up the fall of the empire since 3. A certain dude at the fog gate even tells you its time for the empire to end and something new to take its place, each game has shown a progressively weaker and more incompetent Empire. Stormcloak victory seems like the next logical step in this overarching throughline.

I did Bloodmoon the other month with a level 13 Spear Argonian and all the enemies were really tanky and I died very easily. There's a tomb which you immediately get attacked by 4 werewolves upon entering and they would kill me before I could attack, so to get around it, I enchanted an amulet with fireball and would enter, cast it and immediately leave. Had to quicksave a lot though. There were lines upon lines of wildlife waiting for me whenever I went anywhere and I got the Redguard woman, who you save from the Nords, killed by accident when I re-aggroed one of these lines. If this happens and you report to the Redguard priest, you later find him dead with a suicide note on his body. The Bloodmoon expansion is pretty easy if you become a werewolf, though the ending's still the same.

I actually really appreciate that both Tribunal and Bloodmoon are genuine endgame content expansions, unlike literally every other expansion Bethesda has done. You're going to get clapped if you don't know what you're getting yourself into. Unfortunately, Bloodmoon specifically informed a lot of Bethesda's direction moving forward: tiered enemies, hehe silly npcs, questlines where branched paths are basically the same, etc. I don't think it's a coincidence that Bloodmoon just happened to be the first piece of content Emil worked on.

That’s why I use this as well as its companion mod for Tribunal, I hate that stupid werewolf maze at the end of the Bloodmoon main quest and the werewolves that rape you to death in like 3 hits. I hate the goblins in Tribunal for similar reasons, sewer goblins should be weak with shitty weapons and not tanky nightmares with some of the best weapons in the game.

Oblivion, especially the remaster, isn't nearly as fun or interesting a sandbox as Morrowind and doesn't have as as good an open world as Skyrim. It'd be the worst for multiplayer. There's a reason no one has made serious inroads. I get that there's TES3MP and whatever the one for Skyrim is called (Skyrim Together?) and this technically fills out the trifecta.

The major bottle neck for Poison song is finally complete a good Indoril tileset
As much I love the Mournhold look, I do understand why that was a real pain in the ass to work with, so I am glad they are finally getting along. The fact that they are going with an Umayyad style for the religious buildings at least feels very appropriate. The sooner I can play Indoril, the better. Best Great House after Hlaalu.

Do you have the messages still? Screenshots?

I love how immersive Morrowind is, feels like a real fantasy world.
