They should just take the budget and give it to the mod team behind Tamriel Rebuilt/Project Tamriel instead. Those guys actually earned it and with some funding they might get the whole thing done in my lifetime.

Dont they have trannies among them? Legit asking here because I get all these tranny having modding teams kind of mixed up

The same way sonic attracts autism, modding attracts transexualism for some fucking reason

Idk, probably. As you said modding attracts trannys and I haven't bothered to personally check every member of the mod team.

What I can tell you is, having sunk countless hours into the content, it's not infected with woke nonsense. Any trannys they might have are either thoroughly wrangled or autistic enough to put being faithful to the lore above inserting their politics into the game.

To be fair, within the lore there's ample opportunity for the kind of things trannys normally insert into games so maybe thats enough to keep them from going overboard. One example is during a Temple quest in Bal Foyen where a corrupt priest is taking advantage of and poisoning an old mer, he ends up getting caught but not in time to save his victim. The mer had been exchanging letters with his estranged daughter, trying to reconnect, and she shows up to visit him when its too late. She has a wife but in TES lore marriage isn't limited by sex, and they make it appropriate to Morrowind with dialogue indicating her Dunmer father wouldn't have approved of her marrying an Imperial.

Afterall Morrowind is an inherently racist nation.

that tism cat banner is really good
Thanks, here it is if anyone needs it, I'm pretty sure its from his nexus mod page.

I only sponsored it for 2 hours so it should pop up a lot in that time.

It'll be set in the Redguard's province and be a massive allegory for how racist Nord white people are.
even if we pretend that won't happen, hammerfell is so fucking boring and has almost the least possible connection or cock tease lead up from skyrim. in a perfect world, maybe it could look like prince of persia's environments or aladdin, maybe it could be fun and have working ships etc, but i don't trust them one bit to do any of that shit.

going from skyrim, it's also retarded to not choose black marsh after so much random talk about how they fought off the daedra themselves. who, what, when, where, how, lasting effects, environmental changes, lingering shit etc all could be explored. also much more fantasy with a lot more possibility for shit that hasn't been done repeatedly, room for more aquatic shit, and much more room for exploration in the swamps and unexplored/forbidden areas. all sorts of potential there.

or the boring but also reasonable choice of the summerset isles, dealing with the extension of the high elves political shit etc. natural continuation of the civil war plot. most logical sequel area.

elsweyr and black marsh are problematic because you can't do them easily without them being basically furry games or mysteriously having a fuck ton of random humanoid races but are also the most interesting and exotic possible areas. summerset is very easy and plot relevant, and i could have fucking sworn all grapevines said tes 6 was summerset over and over until "uh yeah it's hammerfell" which smells very, very bad. i really doubt they'd want to shoot themselves that badly but there's oh such room for attempted redguard superiority bullshit/politics pushed, and about the only reason you have to pick hammerfell over everything post skyrim is "i want majority black/islamic-esque people".

I think thr community settling on Hammerfell was process of elimination. Provinces already used are out. Black Marsh is out because it's a death zone for non-Argonians. Elsweyr is out because they're too lazy to make more than one Khajit model for each sex. Valenwood is out because it'll be too edgy with all the cannibalism and whatnot. So that leaves to where you got to, Summerset and Hammerfell. But they'll have a rough time making out the Thalmor to be not-Nazis, but also so popular to either be on the way to or having completed the conquest of Tamriel.

So that leaves Hammerfell, which with all that entails tracks with Bethesda being about a decade behind Current Year Left Politics.

fwiw, I think Elsweyr-Valenwood would make a great dichotomy, since they have a huge variety of environments between them, with savannah, jungle, desert, subtropical plains, etc., but I think the real reason they wouldn't is because it would require them to do all those environments rather than just the desert and mountain I imagine they will flatten Hammerfell to be.

Theory: Summerset planned as a Large DLC location.

If we consult the map,

we see that Summerset could be considered off the coast of Hammerfell. Certainly there would be shipping routes between the two. Also in the area is Anvil, Cyrodiils premiere Port City and the location of Project Tamriel's first major release, Abecean Shores, that I cannot recommend playing enough, its absolutely beautiful.

Anyway given how long TES VI has been in development we can expect they'll want to get the most out of it. I reckon they learned from Skyrim that these games have the potential to remain relevant for a lot longer than initially planned. While Skyrim only had a two major DLCs, Dragonborn and Dawnguard, its not far fetched to speculate that TES VI will have more and/or bigger DLCs than that. They're investing in a whole new engine afterall.

Finally, Summerset is kinda small on its own for a dedicated game. Its about the same size as Vvardenfell so making it the primary setting would be like taking two big steps back. However it would make for an impressive DLC setting.

Downloaded a mod called "Odai - Lifeblood of Balmora", but it had misplaced assets everywhere, though looking into mods that required it showed that it lazily adds a tranny helmet to the game. I say lazily because without a patch, it apparently doesn't even attach to your character's head properly.

It's going to be the Fallout 76 of the Elder Scrolls series.
Even 76 wasn't plagued with indian skin characters.
This will be worse.

My theory is that ES6 was extremely "streamlined" but after the pushback on FO4 they scraped the whole thing and started over.
My theory is they're in panic mode over starfield still and creatively bankrupt.
Some are still coping about starfield and not wanting to admit it was dogshit.
Others are just jeetskins that are trying to figure out how to shovel AI in the game so microsoft can justify things more.
And the higher ups at this point are just making sure their retirement parachutes are going to be okay.

What does the tranny helmet look like?
