Todd Howard has become addicted to buying islands and needs to fund his next purchase. You wouldn't deny a man his tenth island, would you?

I just can't care anymore about Skyrim getting yet another re-release. Sure it's another thing that's delaying ES6, but what's actually being done for this is basically nothing. On the PC side, literally nothing new is being done; it's just a straight re-packaging with the CC shit being included now. For console upgrades, it's just bringing it up to par with the PC version from years ago.

What does make me MATI though is that the CC shit being included from the get-go now is that it further solidifies the decision of the dipshits over at UESP to not segregate that shit from the normal pages like they do for other mods.

I don't get why so many people get so pissed about Skyrim. Hell, Resident Evil 4 has been ported a dozen times. While Skyrim has been re-released/ported 9 times, not counting this latest version that hasn't released.

People just need to get over the fact that Bethesda will likely never make anything new. Hopefully their IPs get spread out to other developers under Microsoft and the company is gutted for assets.

Re releasing Skyrim for the tenth time just to add fishing?
Sounds pretty based

If anything needs a re-release it's Oblivion.

Skyblivion seems to be making pretty good progress...

Agreed. It's a nice little meme/joke to laugh at, but I've only ever bought Skyrim once on PC, they gave me the upgrade to SE for free. Even if you own consoles, you had to rebuy it like once? If you're on PS4 you have no right to complain with how they literally re-released anything of value they had (TLOU, Uncharted, Spider-Man, etc.). And like half or more of Switch library is re-releases.

To get legit upset about it is just hating to hate. There's plenty of other shit that seems more worthwhile to get mad at Bethesda about.

The article about how it has been re-released 9 times is bullshit as well cause it's counting each console version. Nobody counts it that way, it should be based off release dates and/or versions.

This is actually some bullshit to get mad about. This isn't even actually a re-release. They're just selling you creation club content in a pretty package.

It isn't free. The "free upgrade" is just survival mode, fishing and some shitty quest mod from the Creation Club.

When you buy the "Anniversary edition" they just give you access to a bunch of bullshit CC content it sounds like.

There are better fishing and survival mods for free online. There's no need to buy this.

I'm playing OpenMW again. Are there any mods for the music? Preferably ones that leave the vanilla music in and just add new tracks. I love the music in Morrowind but the 5 or so tracks get annoying after a while.

Lmao me neither. From what I'm aware of I thought it was like 25 different things at absolute most.

People have explained to me since then that they are, in fact, talking about literally EVERY item that is in the creation club.

So like, the jewelry CC has 50+ "elements" alone.

Edit: The initial report I saw was worded really funky, which I'm assuming was on purpose. I agree with others, this looks like it's just going to be a CC bundle more than anything.

gonna play Daggerfall Unity, wish me luck. Any suggestions for mods or tips and tricks before I do?

I've pirated most of the creation club stuff, and literally the only things of value are the different artifacts depending on whether you're too lazy to get mod versions of them and/or they don't break the willing suspension of disbelief for you (like the Dragonborn somehow getting Pelinal's armor and Sunder/Wraithguard in the laziest ways humanely possible, although to be fair Keening is already in the base game) and the Forgotten Seasons dungeon. Saints and Seducers is also alright, mostly because it has Nerveshatter and all the armors from Shivering Isles, but the dungeon isn't that impressive and since all the other Shivering Isles artifacts were released before Saints and Seducers, it feels incomplete. All the other random shit, like the holiday, pet and zombie packs, are awful and sometimes actively make the game more of a chore to play. I already get attacked by random dragons constantly, adding random zombies, bone wolves and Nix-Hounds on top of that is aggravating. The houses are also unnecessary, since Skyrim has an insane amount of player housing just in the base game and Hearthfire. Survival Mode and Camping, meanwhile, are just gimped versions of iNeed, Frostfall and Campfire.

It's going to be funny seeing everyone's reaction to all the creation club quests triggering as soon as you start the game, unless they tweak it. I have a feeling that if they don't, the unofficial patches for the creation club stuff that requires level gates or proximity to actually start the quests are going to get a lot more downloads.
