More likely Doggo will nibble on Luna. Not out of malice, but because she probably confusingly doesn't withdraw from pain. A dog and a person who is minimally conscious is a bad choice.

Correct. These movements are actually a particularly devastating type of seizure called infantile spasms. I think Luna met the diagnostic criteria for West syndrome, which is an epilepsy syndrome with onset in infancy. There's a video at that link, but here are more examples of IS. The seizures can be very subtle, but they tend to occur in long clusters and can destroy a baby's brain.

Edited to add that those "crunching" movements Luna is doing in the video in question are textbook infantile spasms. Any baby with abnormal movements like that should be checked out by a doctor without delay. Infantile spasms are a medical emergency. If you notice your baby doing weird repetitive movements, especially ones that involve sudden jackknifing of the body, or repetitive movements that seem to cluster together and do not stop when you place your hand on the baby's body, try to get video and seek medical attention right away. IS can be very subtle, but they are devastating for a little brain. Demand an EEG if you have to; infantile spasms can sometimes be treated if they're caught early.

I think it's the other way round in this case. The IS were just a symptom of her brain being completely fucked.

Even when she looked relatively normal and alert, the damage was done and there was no medication or treatment or magical frequency that could fix it.
