We should buy like 100-200 acres of land in the bumfuck of nowhere USA, and build out a server farm and a community and only allow local connections to the farms + a torrent download and a whitelist of VPN connections for users who joined before August 1st, 2022 to access the farms. there are towns with 5-10k people that are around 200 acres. We could build it close to a walmart or something, have some cell towers on the land to make some communal money, sell some server hosting for more money. At this point they cant really invade 100 acres worth of land, and physically destroy it. I'm just a humble enjoyer of discussing the finer points of fat americans doing dumb things, and I've never particularly cared about the politics or free speech warriors here. I just avoid that part of the site generally. and I've never said anything here that I wouldnt say offline.

There's plenty posters here that raise an eyebrow or two but mostly, this place and the exceptional individuals on it are harmless and respect the law of the land the site is hosted in. So I never really understood why everyone and their government handler has such a seething, burning hatred for the site. If they didnt constantly namedrop the farms and go on unhinged rants to their twitter followers about it, no one would even know the place exists to be mad at it.
