The Endless Drum Beating

As a normie who logs in maybe one or twice a year at most, it wasn’t until the troonsquad attacked that I realized how precious the existence of this place truly is for the free internet.

I hope the privileged fuckwits on Twitter are cognizant of the terrifying precedent they’re setting for everyone by getting DDOS protection services to bow to them, especially for genuinely marginalized individuals. It’s like they forget there are places where citizens have no rights whatsoever, and the internet is their only means of getting their words out there. Moaning and complaining about ”misgendering”, when elsewhere, simply saying you are gay will easily get you imprisoned or worse.

Take care of yourself, Josh. I’ll try to post more actively if time permits. History might not remember you for all that you’re doing, but I’m sure myself and the other members here will.

Who wants to make a guess how long till the Chinks discover us and we're back to square one? These parades of disconnects have me suspicious with a monkey's paw that the CCP won't keep us for too long.

Hoping for all the best Josh. Thank you. In the 6 years I've been coming here this place has taught me many things, as well as given me an insane amount of joy. I thought this little area of the internet would be untouchable a lot longer, but these current events do not surprise me at all, everybody knows the internet isn't what is was anymore.

To the Troon who may read this, YWNBAW. Fuck off.

It's pretty funny that everytime we get a new domain it's runs like butter in the early am, but towards afternoon it gets hit once all the unemployed trannies start waking up from their low-t comas.
Small price to pay for truly free speech.

Glad we're back. Always believe in Null.

But, my suggestions here are:
1) filter words like "bomb" or "shoot" into something like what ween filters to.
2) block signups till like October or November, don't even allow signup by referral.

And seriously consider suing the CBC for that new article, that is textbook libel. Check in with that Marc Randazza guy, see if he'll take you pro-bono.

I made an account to idly lurk and read threads months ago. It’s been pretty wild watching the current circumstances being that I’ve been mostly a wallflower member so far. Thus the situation caught me off guard.

So from the shadows I want to express my appreciation for the space & the knowledge I’ve gained about the internet and it’s people during my quiet journey on here. Decided to speak up for once to say best wishes, god speed and hoping for a better tomorrow.

There’s a lot of value to a place where people can be more honest with the hope that it can educate and create new (hopefully healthier) perspectives. Which I think benefits everyone as a whole rather than just a select few. I can’t say it’s all helpful but there have been many moments from reading these threads that I’ve gained something positive and genuinely learned to appreciate what I have. To that I say thanks.
