There are few government agents I despise more than the people who's job it is to walk up to some local farm and throw away all their hard work over bullshit. Only the most blood drenched CIA or FBI glowie or (obviously) IRS agent is worse.
Last memorial day a farm co op in michigan had nearly 100k of goods destroyed
There will be no sympathy, everything you built will be taken from you and even if you get legal representation to fight back whatever they take will be rotted or destroyed before you can do anything.
This is not limited of course to commercial agricultural enterprises. The homesteader, prepper, citizen and casual animal husbandry enjoyer can also be fucked with. If you raise any animal whatsoever and take from it any product that's either dairy or meat and you sell that to a buddy or a neighbor or a coworker then you are a felon.
The government can destroy your life over a chicken breast or a crumb of cheese. It doesn't matter the context or the circumstances you are now a federal criminal.
There's a lot of gay talk about "human rights" and I believe there can be no greater human rights than the right to self defense and the right to make and manage ones own food. If you can not protect your life or sustain it through your own labor then it isn't your life. And if your neighbor raises meat and you want to get some from him the government has no right to force him to be a felon to do so.
This thread is for the discussion of these regulations, the vile creatures that apply and enforce them and how to resist and circumvent them. Any articles of situations like this or state or federal laws you are aware of that would make self sufficiency and sharing what you have with your community illegal are appropriate for this thread.
Solutions and ideas are also appropriate.
