In Australia, we had an inquiry re: the 19-20 summer bushfires, handed down in August of this year, the overall findings were basically lightening strikes lit the largest fires, due to dry conditions and overabundant undergrowth.
Yet, if you go anywhere on twitter where the galaxy brains congregate, their interpretation of the findings where that
climate change did it.
They will tell you plain as day, that it wasn't "what conservative/right wingers" said about the Greens not allowing back-burning (a documented fact) and it wasn't lightening strikes, it was climate change.
They fail to accept that climates change,
naturally. Yes, habitation plays a part, but so does directly neglecting to clear out dry undergrowth.
These are the same cucks who bemoaned backburning, whining that it was hurting their air quality and was inconsiderate to disabled people who may have problems breathing. They're also the same kind of people who have to have their yards bare and lawned for that sweet street appeal.
Never mind the fact that back-burning upset the Chinese (government) who own a lot of farms in Australia.
They even arrested people here for starting fires. Did it cause all of them? No. Did it assist? Yes.
There's no common sense when people have a hard worn belief system that's ingrained in their very identity.
They don't care what the truth is, they don't want solutions, they just want to be right, morally superior and they'll use whatever they can as a cudgel to beat you into submission.
Either way, even some fire chiefs in the US seem to be awake to the notion that there's elements of co-ordinated arson going on.
