It's been real, faggots. I hope one day I run into one of you IRL and we can reminisce about how much gayer the Internet is without the farms. This website has ruined all other social media for me because of how much fun I've had here. I hope it stays up for awhile longer but I have to admit things are looking pretty dire.

This was/is a great place for actual discussion. I only lurked most of the threads I follow, and I really don't find this to be a echo chamber like most places on the internet. I wish the site could continue on indefinitely as I really do enjoy using it, but I guess we can't expect Josh to invest his blood, sweat and time into this place forever.

The first forum I ever used was a cringe DBZ roleplaying forum in 2008. This will probably be the last for a while since forums are kinda gay.

This is the last forum alive that has shit I care about discussing, I've really hated the new smartphone app era, and now I'm being dragged kicking and screaming into a future ruled by twitter trannies. And they will still act shocked when I hate them.

I can't believe this is happening in a way; I think that's the last shred of optimism being torn from my soul. That was the gayest shit I've ever written. I'm gonna miss you guys.

Between what the trannies have been able to pull off against this site and the looming rollout of WiFi Sensing next year (IEEE802.11bf) I dont have too much optimism left for the future of the clearnet or privacy in my own home for that matter.

This era of the Internet was fun while it lasted. Not looking forward to the next one.

Oh just hearing about this new Wi-Fi Sensing thing. What an absolute horror, it doesn't just work as a radar it creates a mesh network with other devices. This is a surveillance tool from the Stasi's wildest dreams.

It really is and it's maddening that no one is really up in arms about it. Once it rolls out you wont even be able to take a shit privately. Even if you ditch your wifi router as long as you are within range of a cellular or IoT device you're still fucked. They've already had success using the "sensing" to track vitals and mocap even individual finger movements. It's gonna be really spooky to see how it will be paired with AI.
 
If this is truly the end for The Farms, it's been a pleasure and an honor. I hope to encounter many of you elsewhere.

I guarantee you that right at this moment, a cadre of trannies are massaging their amholes to all the doomposts in this tread. It's not doing much for them, since their nerve endings were obliterated in the horrific mutilation of their genitals, but the psychological thrill they get from dominating others is their only release valve.

I lurked for the better part of a decade before signing up. Wish I'd done so earlier, but nonetheless had a great time sneeding and being part of the community. I've always channeled my autism into defending the freedom to say things others might not want to hear online, and that won't stop until the day I keel over from advanced liver failure or something.

A core truth of the world, is that people who can't laugh at themselves or others are insufferable and miserable to be around. Most everyone here is the opposite, and that's what makes this place increasingly unique in the world.

I know you said this is basically the last thing you can do for the site, but how well do you anticipate this decentralization and redundancy will work? How will it hold up against Ding Dong Dickless and his minions?
