There's really nothing that could make one a weapon per say... a sharpened pencil would be a better weapon to be honestBitch you not my mommy
Can a spinner even be classified as a weapon if they start being produced? How many people do you think would buy one to be edgy?
why does this have a community again
I was in Hong Kong for a while and these fucking things started flooding all the night markets for $1-3 US. They weren't selling well and the locals were mostly just staring at them trying to figure out what the point of them was. They weren't even labelled "fidget spinners," there were just stacks of them on tables all over the place.Fidget spinners are being mass produced at factories right now in China at such a fast rate, that I have gotten multiple emails from Chinese distributors about selling them. It's a good fad market to get into, since the cost of a plastic fidget spinner to a basic seller (not talking economy of scale like walmart can get) is $ .88 . The metal-ones can vary from 5 dollars to about 18 dollars wholesale; these adult idiots are literally paying triple+ to get shit mass produced in China with no extensive R&D and that almost any individual can access. Fidget Spinners are just the next fad that business people are hyping to children because the profit margins are huge.
I'm surprised that a group of narutards didn't take advantage of this by making a shuriken spinner and having it alongside with their horrible cosplay sessions.
Spinners (specifically the Torqbar) have been around for years, far longer than the cube.lol the fidget cube by antsy labs is way less expensive. If you wanted to receive one in the mail, you had to put down 25$ for it on Kickstarter. Which doesn't seem all that bad.
I think it's been proven that the fidget cube helps people concentrate, and that the fidget spinner is just a toy that serves as a distraction. NPR did an article on it.

I totally don't doubt this is a great toy for spergs though. It definitely explains the subreddit.
Here's an article on the cube: https://www.bostonglobe.com/lifesty...ys-may-help/eTvlgEbtEdvJ3NK9WMw7RM/story.html
So yeah, it's obvious the makers of the spinner are trying to cash in on what Antsy Labs has done. Either they don't give a shit, or they missed their mark completely. The cube works like a worry stone or pen that you can click, without taking your attention away from what you're actually working on. The spinners are mesmerizing and counterproductive.
Yeah but that doesn't mean these people are not trying to push it off as the next new fad that helps anxiety.Spinners (specifically the Torqbar) have been around for years, far longer than the cube.
I can't stand the moms on Facebook who try to defend these things claiming that they've helped their special :autism: snowflakes in school, but now that everybody has them their special snowflake can't bring theirs to school.
I want to give you all the green checks. If your kid is so autistic he can't function unless he's literally playing with toys in the middle of class then he shouldn't be going through mainstream education in the first place.
