I’ll be downloading it since used physical copies are still £30 and up.
 
So the all inclusive Digital Deluxe DLC edition is 90 dollars and comes with the base game and Yuffie DLC.

Here I thought they would be offering it separate, but if they're charging that amount the game must have some significant content. I wonder if they're going to have it be a separate platinum or if they're going to do what Kingdom hearts 3 did.

Even though the game has been out for a little while, it doesn't sit right for me that they are giving it away for free so soon.

I can't speak for everyone, but to me that smacks of the game being a service and that the publisher has an expectation of extracting money out of the player-base. Which is to say it's a bad sign and looks bad and is bad.

It's a very good game but I have a feeling we're going to get multiple complete collections just like Kingdom hearts got before it's all over.

As long as they still put things on physical formats I'm fine with that.

It already made it's money ten times over, will be ported to Epic store sometime in the future and it's a way to get fans of the series to buy into getting a PS5 or Playstation Plus.

That's kinda why they're doing it I think. They're starting a second play at home initiative in March where you get free games that are not tied to PS+ with like a new game coming for the next 4 months, so that also plays a part into it too.

Their ramake is shit and a disservice to their rip-off of Final Fantasy VI. I hope they get cancer.

I dunno I found very little wrong with the sections that we got. Outside of needing to solve the tunnel robot arm puzzle 6 times to get all the dresses and visiting the sewer a little too often especially if you wanted to do all the side quests, very little was actually filler where nothing was going on. You were either exploring new places, fighting shit like new enemies, or collecting shit and they kept the variety of activities throughout the whole thing so it wouldn't get boring.

I wasn't expecting a behemoth fight as a side quest, but the scale of the fights were like Monster Hunter quality. the whole fight with bahamut was also incredibly challenging and quite possibly one of the hardest sequence fights in the whole series because Pride and Joy comes after that and if you're ill equipped you're kinda screwed. They really made you learn the battle system for that and Barret turned out to be the best healer and support in the whole game.

Much deserved. Dragon Quest IX was pretty weak.

Inexplicably Dragon Quest IX was the on where your armor actually appeared on your character if my memory serves. Go figure.

Anyone played the Project Blue Eyes Secret Triangle demo yet?

Or Bravely Default II for that matter? I would especially like to hear if BDII is any less awful than BD.

I'm enjoying BDII so far, but I liked both 3DS games. If you didn't like BD, you probably won't like BDII, it's mostly just more of the same.
