Every last one of us have been able to easily find a ROM and play it via emulation, even as far back as 20 years ago on the cheapest computer you could buy at Walmart, free of all these stupid problems. But hey, if you wanna spend $15 on a janky version of a nearly 30 year old game, go for it.

Overall it just hits the mark and is nothing special.

I want classically terrible singing. Or an awful rhythm game, where her timing gets worse and worse.

The Japanese version is basically the same. Was kinda hoping this one would be better, but it's the one that set the tone.

This was always the definitive version for me, vocal-wise.

I mean, it's kinda nitpicky and far from the game's worst issue apparently, but everyone's creaming themselves over the remade opera scene and I'm just shaking my head.

So I've been watching FF6 pixel gameplay and apparently they still kept the changes in the previous PC remaster where you can just leave Cyan charging up his Bushido attacks and issue other character commands.

So much for the replication of the OG experience. Cyan is supposed to be shit like the old days, god damnit!

It was obvious that they would buff him since the beginning, FF1 wasn't supposed to have Ethers and Intelligence didn't work. FF6 PR still has some challenge though. Also lol at Gau using the flower rage to entice Kefka into killing himself in one turn, I thought killing the Emperor with the Blood Sword was bad.

good lord, it's like the old mobile version having tons of good reviews too. Just consume product and get excited for next product

Because it's framed as theatre which usually means Broadway style musicals which is what most people are used to. People like the singing because it's no different than any of the plays that were adapted from Disney movies. Yes it's not Opera but most people don't really differentiate between an Opera and a Musical because they usually share same venues, actors, and have similar structure in story flow where there's a song every few minutes.

If you want to see what most of these people consider good, look up the songs from Centaur World.

They may as well have left that in since I doubt anyone would randomly stumble across doing that. Most new players don't even use Gau.

Gau is either the worst or most-broken character, depending on how surgically you use him.

That's not even Wind God Gau. Which they nerfed for some reason.

In a game full of characters you can make completely overpowered they somehow came for my boy.

I don't know.

Maybe it's because I didn't grow up with FFVI, but hearing the sung opera scene there, and comparing it to the original, I don't really have much of an issue with it now having vocals.
