As much as they had fun, the death threats they got is indeed a mood killer for them. Jan also mentions that GamerGate itself is a hornets nest for him, that making fun of it bit him hard with the fake threats he made to Wu coming back to bite him in some way.
 
You guys are aware that this is vaguely tongue-in-cheek, right? He literally just described KingOfPol as "armed and dangerous" and "just like ISIS".

Yeah fuck that they were just joking. But honestly I think he's in character right now lol calling king of pol an "armed gamer" and the "cabal of call of Duty players" fuck I don't know if I'm getting rused or not

Considering that, he may as well be doing a good job rusing any viewers such as myself. Still, he could still have some sort of regrets though GamerGate may not be one of them, especially if he didn't get to do certain things as the character and all.
