An interesting thread, so bear with my SPERG.

There is definitely is a connection between being a fujo and being a FTM but it's not that direct that one does not necessarily evoke the other. In Japan, a country known for all kinds of retarded porn, IRL trannies (and SJW btw) are very rare. Being into yaoi remains a weird hobby, while the real-life responsibilities do not go away. You just keep your trash to yourself understanding what is a fantasy and what is a reality. The same is in slav countries, where yaoi is pretty popular yet no one runs to cut their tits or parades with "he/them".

From what I remember from LJ and later Tumblr, it was pretty much the same in the west until social justice activism started infecting fandoms. In early 2010-s no one bickered around your fucking pronouns or "if you are allowed to ship two black fags if you are a white cis lass". Politics was away from fandoms which were reservations for weirdos and their weird hobbies. Then happened SJW, when more and more shit was becoming "political" - this is the first factor I blame. The second shit I blame is the specifics of zoomer generation, which:

1) are edgy teens catching SJW bullshit and a culture of victimhood.
2) are a generation that didn't face any serious hardships being born in a welfare system. Many of them don't work (sex work does not count lul) and do not want to start, hence remaining NEETs with an edgy teen mentality. The idea that radical measures such as surgery are going to magically solve their mental problems is very teen-ish love for extremums.
3) they are constantly online since they don't work - see (2). Their most bright life experiences come from the online sphere. It erases the borders between reality and fantasy.

The third factor is the amount of PORN of any kind available for free. Women tend to watch porn less than men, however, women are exposed to porn in another context. This is a weird situation when SJW shout about hypersexualization from one side while from another the sexual industry grows by leaps and bounds showing in practice that for a happy fulfilling life, a girl doesn't need anything but a pair of big tits and willingness to show them off. It goes even further, affecting the body's perception. If you happen to be far from beauty standards you are fucked. The idea of developing a personality is not present in porn or among zoomer influencers. The SJW crowd internalizes this problem with the bullshit slogans "sex work is work" and "sex-educator" which would sound like bullshit to any sane feminist of the 2000-s. This is why so many king-bros do onlyfans.

The fourth - is a lack of good role models for young girls. Anyone more or less involved in modern entertainment knows that modern female characters suck big ass. It's either a "stronk female character" or "just bland side character for a male lead". When you have no female role models, you are gonna look up to male ones.

I got similar thoughts. Those two societies are much more conservative about homosexuality: in Japan it's seen as a silly little experimental thing girls should grow out of and Slavs are your standard homophobes, whereas the West was much more liberal by 2010 if not earlier (earlier in my opinion). The West is also much more individualistic where children and teenagers have a good deal more agency to own and have their own things, including weird and niche hobbies, and parents for many reasons don't exercise as much control over them. Gender theories cooked up in American academia spread onto the internet and into Livejournal then Tumblr, turning regular fandom idiocy into SERIOUS BUSINESS that we now can't backtread from. We don't have many cultural barriers to shame OR distract young people from auto(gyno/andro)philia either. I don't think we could ever reimpliment those things without regressing as a society, but something within these people themselves needs to wake up and tell them to stop being delusional.

Oh yeah, and the breakdown of the barrier between the Internet and the real world. In my experience, all the internet safety shit that Gen Z were taught evaporated in the later half of our lives. Gen Alpha has zero opsec training. It wouldn't surprise me if Gen Alpha in particular can't seperate their identities from whatever they become obsessed with online, as in all those little wannabe Aidens doing it for clout and attention really do identify with the latest Tumblr TikTok Sexyman because it's core to their identity with nothing telling them that their pretentious essay posts on Genshin Impact racism and antishipping mean jack shit in real life.

Offhand thought about autism and troonery, one of the signs a very little kid may be autistic is mixing up pronouns. That is, when he means to say "I love broccoli" he says "you love broccoli." When he means to say "you are wearing a hat" he says "I am wearing a hat." The jury is out on whether this is a simple speech malfunction- picture a drawer in your brain where pronouns are kept, normies having a nice organizer in there and autists having a chaotic junk drawer- or if it represents a deeper confusion about "myself" vs "people around me."

Bearing this in mind I have wondered if autists may turn to troonery- especially in the context of social isolation and excessively online socialization- due to a confusion between "erotic object" and "subjective identity." IE, I am turned on by women= I am a woman.

One of my personal theories is that, for some people, this erotic target confusion may be caused by how boys and girls are seperated when they're very young, but then when they're teenagers they're expected to start mingling again and make up for years of segregation.

I think for normal kids this can be awkward, but add in autism, or general social isolation...

Plus, they say that autism can cause a general sort of 'rigidity' with which social norms may be followed, because they don't actually understand the spirit of the whole thing... so they may play it safe by following norms to the letter. It doesn't mean that someone like that will follow every 'norm'.
It may depend on what they see as 'worthwhile', which is something that I think most people have to figure out through trial-and-error their whole lives.

Easy: it's a different yet similar cause and diagnosis. There's a lot of shy girls who first experience with sexual things is online and they hide behind a nonbinary/male persona, and some of them either stay that way (the ones that are easier to help) and then some grow into either yaoi fantasies or needing to have more attention or even personality disorders.

There's also women who have had sexual trauma, and sadly the two common responses are nonsexual and hypersexual. The former is made up of a lot of the more nebbish FtMs and nonbinaries who hide a lot and don't usually have threads. The latter are usually the more loud attention seeking onlyfan creators. A CSA victim can be repulsed by sex before transition then become more sexual with the introduction of T and less fear of being seen as "female", and being female appearing or appealing at all is dangerous in their heads as opposed to being male. Same with normal but anxious FtMs.

Ok it's not as easy as I said, but my point is FtMs and Female to nonbinaries come in with more factors than just their male counterparts. Males that we usually analyze are usually more vocal autogynos while females have more of a range since they're more talkative in general. The less social males don't post about troonism also can have problems similar to FtMs but they're less vocal.

Social cognition is just the most prevalent and the easiest to guide away and help. Vocal autoandro FtMs are harder since they usually have extra problems, like below.

Oh you can, but then you fall into the realm of personality disorders and it can just be eaiser to write them off as such. It's a lot of Cluster Bs and people developing Cluster B symptoms, again like their male counterparts. Narcissism and Borderline coping skills come up since you don't want to change your hypersensitivity to the world around you and how people see you, but you really REALLY want attention after all the people you've driven away.

If I were you I'd look at studies done on women in the past that displayed hypersexualism and compare them to behaviors of the ones now. I'd also look at the behaviors of autistic women since they're more likely to develop paraphernalia.

The other two theories I've heard about autism and trannyism are:
1) The autistic person can't relate to their own sex and often times feel sexless. When they grow into puberty they feel like they don't fit in and take this as proof that they must be transgendered. I can't remember how this plays out in boys but in girls it's the kind where they feel like they had to be another gender because they're such a tomboy who's really into STEM or sports or they hate the sensation of makeup and cheap fast fashion against their skin.
2) Gender itself becomes their special interest and they become so fixated on it that the transexual lifestyle consumes their free time.
People are so varied that I think it's a fool's game to try and seperate and solve all these strains of troonism like they're a separate issue, it's all whack-a-mole when people could be spending their energy on preventing the mentally feeble getting groomed and egg cracked. I know a 12 year old girl becoming an Aiden is way different to a married man having a middle-aged crisis but it's all so tiresome and my compassion and energy is better spent elsewhere than worrying about hypothetical kids. I'm done with it all.

However if I was going to try and make a grand theory of troonism, people have way too much free time and they spend it either unwittingly or willingly exposed to huge amounts of gender bending material. It really is the breakdown of social barriers and taboos.
