Chris is not going to change one bit, even after Barb dies. He was raised to live eternally like a child without any responsibilities, where he got whatever he wanted and everyone else in the world who were against him in any way were cruel autism-hating JERKS.
It's not that he's going to change, it's that he's already different now. Not substantially or in interesting ways, but, for example, Chris knows you need electricity to run his things and if the power went out, he would (if he wasn't broke) pay the bills.

Chris' mood changed in some weird ways when Bob died. He started blaming himself for his trolling, for example.

Really?

Well clap clap Chris! You're making progress!

I think once Barb dies, Chris is going to come to a crossroads. Either he's going to retreat even further away from everything than he already is, or he's going to realize his new freedom and we're going to see some truly scary shit. Without Barb, his life will be an improvement, yes. But then he has no one to take care of him. He's going to want find a replacement for Barb, and quickly.

... I'm curious about this. Do you have proof?

This isn't public info. So no.

I assume he blamed himself for his constant doxxing? His public updates show that he still largely blames trolls for being evil and attacking the innocent man.

Yeah, I thought that given his latest updates, he continues to shift the blame for his current situation to "the trolls".

Heh, well, the trolls did do a lot of things. Mostly, we took advantage of his gullibility, but he's a simpleton and he can't really change that.

I don't think anyone denies that but he had his own part in it too. The [cwc]death threats[/cwc], what happened at the [cwc]game place[/cwc], getting kicked out of [cwc]PVCC[/cwc], SheCameForCWC.jpg... those were all Chris. Nobody else. Him.

Oh sure, but I'm more thinking about after the trolling started. We laughed at his old fuckups, sure. But the trolling was our live entertainment. Everyone was eager to get the newest updates on CWC.

There were a few things in the beginning that were partially Chris' fault, but past a certain point, everything was us. Every new saga we got better at what we did. In fact, it would've kept going if we hadn't taken a break when Bob died.

Fair enough. The Liquid Saga/Kacey, Asperchu and CWCki are all us. We may very well help to validate his conspiracy theory mindset considering that he has a shitload of people he's never met in person before keeping tags on him. To borrow a phrase from King of the Hill, we put too much pressure on a structure that wasn't up to code in the first place.

Are you implying it will start up again at some point (if possible) instead of just being over?

Uhh, personally I think that Chris is pretty depressing right now. We're mostly just watching his posts and laughing at them. We might have plans for the future, we can't guarantee anything. *shrugs*

It's possible, if someone figured out where we left off once Bob died. It might take some new research but I think that there is something that could jumpstart our pet lolcow again.

Uhh, well, at the time Bob died, Chris was starting to get smarter to the point where he is now on his own. So, he might've acquired the intelligence (or good enough pattern recognition) necessary to identify troll plans with or without Bob's death. It might've just coincided with Bob's death.

I'd love for it to be possible that you could be wrong and our pet lolcow is taking a break, but I'm not an optimist. You might be right.

He will be completely alone once barb goes. He isn't prepared for it. For chrissakes, even though he whines about her, he will lose the most important person in his life. He isn't mature enough yet for this. It's really depressing. Sure he's made minor improvements, but is he really ready to be alone in the world?

No. It's sad but it's true, he's not ready for the real world.

Chris has gotta get off his rear end and start depending on himself if he's gonna make it. If he doesn't make bold changes now, things are not going to be good. The house will crumble apart. His last car will break down and he won't have money for another. Without Barb, he'll literally eat McDonalds three meals a day. I'm not even kidding, he won't make it to 45. And that is very depressing to me.

"Adult autistic child" is spot-on. Chris is what you get when you live as a child with little guidance. You only do what immediately feels good.
Barb won't let him depend on himself. Chris' life could suck a lot less, but Barb won't let it. She's the only person in his life (maybe Rocky, but I doubt it) who could help him not suck. But she refuses to.

His life might even improve when she dies (after he's done mourning, of course). She's that bad.

Seriously, does she even care what happens to him after she drops? Does she think she's immortal or will outlive him? Parents are supposed to better their children; Barb just wants to stagnate. Does she view Chris as an eternal child or does she just want him to be as miserable as she is? So disturbing.

Maybe she understands that she would be more miserable if she was all alone in 14BC...

She doesn't care what happens to him. The sad fact is that for whatever reason, all she cares about is herself.
