The Game Oversimplification Thread - Take any game and intentionally make it sound boring

You fight enemies by summoning monsters and your quest is pretty much getting back your power.

A boy must save a princess, there is more than one villain

Is there anyone

999?
Naw, it's Alan Wake

Here's a good one:

You and your brother are plumbers stuck in the middle of an invasion.

Overlord?
Not what I was thinking but I'll take it.

To better describe it: you're a wizard who fights adventurers by summoning monsters while trying to regain your powers.

For an unrelated game:
You're a guy who gets attacked by people. It includes little bearded men in jumpsuits and gloryholes that can hurt you.

Dungeon Keeper.

Dungeon Keeper.
Nope. One last chance with a bit more on it:
Evil wizard that comes back from the grave, fight adventurers by summoning monsters since said wizard is weak as hell and is pursued by a ghost who doesn't like recently living wizards trying to escape the dungeon.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City?
Funnily enough, it's not that, here's bit more of an expansion on that: you were suppose to trade the money for some sort of weebshit weapon only for everything to go to hell.

I got a few:

The main character dies so a Deviant Art OC takes the main spotlight

A bunch of people fight over a briefcase

After being wrongfully imprisoned for years, man fights a corrupt police force

A dog tries to kill you for the entire game
