Double posting. I meant to include this with my post mentioning blood libel.
We just passed the 10 year anniversary of the Duma arson attack.. Two adults, a mother, father, and a small toddler, Ali Dawabsheh, were murdered. The surviving son, a four year old was disfigured.

Ben Uliel was eventually convicted of murder five years after the incident. There are some who argue that Ben Uliel was a good boy who dindu nuthin wrong. They argue that it was the Arabs who committed a false flag so they could pin it on a Jew. Even in Israel, the justice system is antisemitic.
As an epilogue, although this happened during the middle of the events of the story, it's worth noting an incident called the "wedding of hate."
