I started at my first job recently but I came down with a nasty cold pretty much on the first day. Just my luck to get one literally the moment I start interacting with people again. It’s not the coof since my mom made me take a coof test and it came back negative, but I still feel really achey and shit so I’ve called in sick today and I’m hoping a day in bed will help me feel well enough to go in tomorrow, since I don’t want them to think I’m lazy. My immune system just picked the worst possible time for me to get ill. I’m suffering 
If lunch or tea later on in the afternoon perks me up a bit I might whip up a spreadsheet and do some prospecting so then they at least know I’m still making an effort. Although I accidentally left my work laptop at work so I won’t have access to all the same tools that I normally would. I’d have to sit at my desk to do it probably…or maybe I could do it in bed on my iPad….

Ya know? If I have the time and resources, maybe I should start a stop-motion animated commentary channel. Think about it... That's good and all, but it's no good if I have a heart attack. Caffeine + testosterone + youth is one hell of a drug. I don't take caffeine well. I've only had like 16 ounces of strong brewed coffee. I've also been binge-watching Little Dark Age meme videos. I should find my cat and pet him and boot up Harvest Moon or something.

Am I the only one who can't quite stand David "Dave" Chappelle?
There's been a lot of talk about him since the whole moaning of transphobia this and that. Chappelle's been lauded as some sort of hero of free speech since the "Sticks and Stones" special came out.
I've never been a fan of his comedy. For whatever reason, it just doesn't jive with me. I love the sort of comedy delivered by the likes of Bill Burr, so I thought Chappelle would speak to me, but unfortunately not. Other than his comedic routine, I simply seem to dislike the personality he puts on display on his shows somewhat. There's something about his specific brand of goofiness that just annoys me rather than entertains me.
So anyways, he's making the rounds again with being cancelled and stuff, and so I thought to check out his performance as of late. In the show I happened to watch he's disparaging Hannah Gadsby for not being funny. So in turn, I decided to check out who she is. I quickly find out that Hannah Gadsby is an australian "comedian" who is so insufferable it actually boggles the mind. That she would even think of passing her boorish rants of as comedy is beyond me. Granted, I haven't seen terribly much of her performance, but from what I've seen she seems to be the poster child of the annoying, privileged and painfully unfunny woke. Good on Chappelle for calling stuff like that out in a rather funny manner. Stuff like this does not make him some sort of genius comedian in and of itself though, as some seem to argue.
Other than with things like that, I find that for large chunks of Chappelles comedic routine, he falls back on what I can only call intolerable grandstanding. Take what he says in this clip for example:
So he starts off by taking the safe route of putting emphasis on how much the LGBTQP-whatever community as a whole are not to blame for the current social climate all non-insane people in the western world has to endure. It's all "corporate interests." Allow me to fucking disagree so hard my hair falls off. The community of those of deviating sexual proclivities are in part very much to blame for all the ongoing shit. The marriage of government and woke corporatism is nightmarish, yes, but to sit there and pretend that faggots in and of themselves aren't in some ways to blame for the current political landscape is just flabbergasting.
Also, at 1:48 of the above clip: "the best comedians, on Earth, came to my home and broke bread with me."

Then he praises Netflix of all fucking corporations for hosting his content on their platform and standing up to The Truth™ that he shares in his movie about George Floyd. Because Netflix as a company are very much known for not diddling with woke hysteria. Brilliant.
It's not in the clip I linked, but I know from others I've seen that he still, to this day, constantly pats himself on the back for walking away from millions of dollars by refusing to accept a deal in which it was proposed that he would deliver more family friendly comedy in a new show by not, for example, making comedy around the word "nigger" and similar stuff. I don't have a proper example to link to, but I believe that he, in the same performance as the one I linked to, exclaims how he knows all there is to know about following your principles in the face of great adversity because of declining the millions of dollars he was offered since he values the comedic value of saying "nigger" so much. What a true martyr.
Many years ago he also apparantly fucked off to Africa (?), and spent years there, whilst also converting to Islam. You gotta go the Mohammed Ali route if you're a true and honest black man with integrity in contemporary America, I guess. On the shows I've seen he's wasted no breath in putting emphasis on how the murder of st. Fentanyl Floyd, with the resulting nigger chimpout over the course of months that ruined countless lives and cost inordinate amounts of money in damaged property, was a long time coming. Gotta break the systemic racism in 'Murica by breaking a few eggs, I suppose. I don't believe I've heard him say it out loud, but I don't think it's a stretch of the imagination to believe that he's an avid supporter of Black Lives Matter. A quick digging through that shitshow of an organization should show you that it's an organisation that doesn't deserve anything but contempt for their postmodernistic shennanigans, most especially if you're solely interested in carving out a piece of the current day social- and political landscape for the exclusive benefit of blacks, as I imagine is Chappelles wish. The connection of BLM and Venezuela, for example, should give you pause. That Black Lives Matter claim to oppose police abuse and racism around the world, whilst simultaneously supporting some of the world’s most brutal and repressive dictators is probably irrelevant background noise for the likes of Chappelle. You simply cannot let meager details like that disctract your focus from the great cause.
In the same show I linked to he also proudly exclaimed himself to be a feminist by following the textbook definition. No shit that sensible people are feminists if you're going to define the movement by its most milquetoast and positive definition imaginable. Gotta pump up those politically correct brownie points. It annoys me that he just had to make that a point in his comedy, only to then go after the Suffragettes distaste for black people. That's all well and good in and of itself, and I'm never against highlighting the dark secrets and hypocrisy of so-called progressive values, but again, it's the same old formula of bitching about the issues of black people and how whitey have always kept them down. At the end of the day, almost everything about Chappelles comedy is about how silly crackers are. Never lose focus on the true enemy, even in comedic format! Other edgy comedians aren't half as insistent in their pestering about social issues as Chappelle is.
I'm sorry for writing paragraphs about this nonsensical rubbish, but I'm an exceptional indiviual, and I needed to blow off some steam. I hate it when people rally around and praise those who really only agrees with them on a surface level — especially when they're really supportes of some truly regressive shit and actually oppose that which you believe they agree with you on, or at the very least naively supports organisations whose end goal is anything but your well-being. All because media hysteria drives people to mindlessly consoom. Chappelle isn't a comedian first and foremost; he's above all a preacher for the forlorn blacks. At least call a spade a spade. Fuck this self-aggrandizing jogger. I wish he could have the balls to critizise his nigga brothas and sistas for all their predicaments, which are largely self-inflicted in most cases.
