I'm extremely bored, so here, look at my favorite grenade.

Pictured in the middle is the breda model 35, surrounded by other grenades of the same model made by other manufacturers.
These might be the most fantastically overcomplicated exploding devices Italy has ever made, and had a bad reputation for failing to explode until the battle was over, earning them the nickname of the red devil from stories of bongs who accidentally struck these things while digging trenches. The mechanics of these things are way too complicated for me to attempt to explain on mobile but I have a link if anyone wants too learn more. Trust me, these things are as wacky on the inside as they are on the outside.
Edit: I just remembered the SRCM version was the one with the complicated bullshit safety, but the rest of that still stands.
