Apologies for the necro but I saw MediExcalibur2012's video on Ellie Godelia while cleaning out my Watch Later playlist, and while it is old news for those in the know (It's from 2021) I believe it's drama that should be archived on the Farms.
Some of the screenshots are Snipping Tool'ed from the archived videos, so I apologize for the poor quality of the images, I've provided transcriptions of both images with hard to read text and the audio archives to the best of my ability. TL: DW: Ellie Godelia, Heavy the Squid's grooming victim, joined a NSFW Discord server along with other prominent Splatoon GMOD Youtubers and groomed minors by doing ERP with them. Ellie Godelia was 15 when she was e-dating Heavy the Squid (24/25) along with another then-unknown user, and Heavy and Ellie ERPed with each other. When they broke up, Ellie went to LolAttack to help make a video exposing Heavy the Squid. Heavy the Squid would then send his followers to mass report the video and takes it down. LolAttack talks to PickSurprise, PickSurprise makes an expose, which Heavy the Squid again sends his followers to mass report the video; however, he failed to take the video down. Other big names talk about the drama, and Heavy the Squid takes a one-day break. After he returns, he immediately starts talking to underage users.

After this server was raided, Ellie was confronted, and her excuse was that she wasn't being serious and that it was just "OC ships," which is interesting to say when there is proof of her ERPing with minors. Its also important to note that in this community, these OCs are usually used as self-inserts.

After being caught out on her lie by PickSurprise, Ellie pretended to be sucidial (26:34)
and on June 8th, 2018, she would join a populated Discord voice call and pretend to kill herself by choking herself with a bathrobe, resulting in one of her best performances (26:50)

What's the lesson here? If you wanted another reason to hate child groomers, Ellie is a case where the victim of grooming ends up becoming the groomer. While I won't be too dramatic and say it ought to be nuked from orbit (that's for Discord), this is definitely not a community you would want your son or daughter to be in, with the general weirdness and (sometimes literal) autism.
It's also a story of why you ought to ARCHIVE! What got me to make this thread was the fact that half of the sources in the MediExcalibur2012 are either deleted or made private. With some pretty damning (and funny) information in this whole situation, it would be pretty important to make sure people in the future can see what these people have done (and more importantly, LOL at the stupid stuff).
While doing some research for this thread, I found a Wikia called TSA: The Splanimations Archive (Archive of it's home page). While it didn't seem useful for me here, if you are getting started in finding drama regarding this community, I think it would be a good place to start.
This isn't an update on anything, just musings on this community, but I am working on an effort post and these musings aren't necessary to the effortpost IMO. I'm putting them down now so I don't forget them later.
I predict this thread will turn into more of a historical thread of past drama/lols, as the GMOD/SFM Splatoon / SplatSource community is pretty dead, especially in the animation side.
Many of the OG big names, such as Heavy the Squid, Alex Spider, and LizzietheRatcicle, rode of off the quick rise to popularity that Splatoon 1 got around 2015. I think Geofcraze634 was a SM64 machinima guy who eventually went with Splatoon stuff at the same time. SMG4 (who I would consider a GMOD animator at this point) added a Inkling character, Meggy, when Splatoon 2 was new (2017), and added an Octoling character, Desti, when the Octoling DLC for Splatoon 2 came out (2018 ). To my knowledge, there is no big creator that started or transitioned over into SplatSource content when Splatoon 3 came out (2023), although it was an opportunity for some past members to start making content.
Major controversies like Heavy the Squid or the Lewd House made a lot of past creators leave SplatSource, and some people who stayed during that don't focus on it anymore; off the top of my head:
Alex Spider (considered biggest SplatSource Youtuber) keeps some Splatoon characters in his videos, but it seems more geared towards flavor-of-the-month games like Poppy Playtime and Friday Night Funkin'.
Kakki Creative Channel went from SplatSource to general Nintendo art/animations in 2022.
While not exactly a SplatSource Youtuber, SMG4 eventually got rid of the Splatoon characters (by turning Meggy into a human and killing off Desti) in 2019.
Anyone that still does SplatSource today are either too controversial (especially Geofcraze634 and LizzieRatcicle) or are too autistic about it to quit. These days, it feels like you really have to know someome already in the community to be exposed to it, definitely different to how it was in the past (A friend used to watch SMG4, which is where he saw Meggy and got involved in SplatSource, and him showing me some funny drama is how I became aware of this community). With how tiny the community is now, growth seems almost impossible if you focus only on SplatSource.
There is a lot of things against appealing towards the SplatSource community specifically. Your modern Garry's Mod / SFM fan probably doesn't know or care about Splatoon, while the modern Splatoon fan probably isn't turning to Garry's Mod / SFM to express their creativity. Plus, if it's suspect to be part of the Splatoon community as an adult, it's even more suspicious to be part of the subcommunity that is confirmed to not only have groomers and pedophiles, but to have some of them still openly operating under the same names, which probably drives off a few people. New SplatSource creators will be pretty obscure and are likely get very few views (although in testing some search stuff on Youtube, I did regularly find small, new channels posting SplatSource stuff while on a relatively empty account).
The best bet for funnies is probably scrolling through DeviantArt, but I can see that just turning into DeviantArt Horrors thread, but Splatoon-themed. Maybe 2025 is actually Year of the SplatSource and I just need to TRVST THE PLQN, but unless some big Youtuber starts doing SplatSource stuff, this thread is just gonna be various versions of "Retard 1 had a slapfight with Retard 2," which is entertaining, but I doubt makes for an active thread. Hoepfully I'm wrong, if only for lots of lolz to come out.
ETA: This community probably went under the radar so long because it's both small and (from what I've seen) Kiwi Farmers tend not to be in the same circles as SplatSource people. I guess the one good thing about this community is that despite Splatoon being tranny-central, there aren't as many trannies you would expect from a Splatoon subcommunity.

Being a guy in the SplatSource community means it's hard to get a girlfriend, and this was no different for TCS. However, one of his friends, TZelda, had a Discord server whose members helped out TCS. They pointed him to someone perfect: a single Canadian girl that makes Splatoon content!

Peachy was getting sick of acting with TCS, so she thought of a cover story (being in a mental hospital) to stop interacting with TCS temporarily. When she first told TCS that she might have to "go there", TCS asked if there would be internet in the mental hospital, so that they could continue their ERP sessions.

I remember this one time he even asked me on the- this one time he even asked me on the phone, if wh- if whenever I go into a men- That was when I took a break because I didn’t wanna be around him for a while because he- he absolutely disgusted me. I remember this one time, we were on the phone and I said I may enroll myself in a mental hospital. He said, “in the mental hospital, do you have- internet? Eventually, TCS's behavior, along with constantly asking for nudes ("Peachy" would send fake nudes she would find online), asking for Peachy's phone number, and asking for address, disgusted Peachy so much she "went into the mental hospital." Publicly, TCS used the situation to gain sympathy. Privately, TCS went to Moka and got "Peachy's" address (a fake one given just in case) and sent over a dildo to her house once she "got out of the mental hospital," to go with the fleshlight he bought.

He would @ me for nudes, which obviously weren't mine, I would get them off of Google, or like a different server or something, and he would send me unsolicited dick pics and shit like that. The trolling plan goes public, with them dropping a Dropbox showing both how horribly TCS treated his "girlfriend" and how he talked inappropriately with a minor (where the pedo accusations came from).
Peachy then invited TCS and some others into a group chat and revealed herself to be faking it this whole time. However, she fucked up the reveal: she thought the plan was to pin in all on Moka, so she went into Moka's account (who was an admin on TCS's server) and asked for more power (to get a bot to raid the server). While doing this, she (as Moka) told one of Moka's friends (who she thought was part of the plan) that she was Peachy, but then that person ratted "Moka" out to TCS.

Anyway, after all of that, we had the group chat, you know, revealed ourselves, then I went into Moka's account. Which, they didn't have two-step verification. I already checked this morning, they do have it now, which is- so I can't do that- did last time anymore, but anyway, I went into TCS's server, cause Moka was the one with, uh, admin power. I asked TCS for admin, and to be above everyone in the server, on that account, so... then I had access to add in a bot to raid the entire server. And that's what I did.
And I did do the mistake of DM'ing one of their friends, telling them that I was Peachy inside of Moka's account, because their friend was in the group chat with us when we were, um, revealing myself to... TCS, and listened to everything, so I thought she was on board to help me troll my next victim, but obviously she turned out to be a fucking rat, and now they're shifting blame onto this, uh, this girl, this 16-year-old girl, so uh- I can't do much about that, but, uh, that's a "my bad," I guess.

To clear the air, the group behind Peachy open up their Discord server to tell people who agree with TCS their side of the story. The group talked to Ellie, Zeldaboy, and TCS himself.

Then, as Ellie and Peachy were about to leave, a guy who was problems with Peachy starts arguing with her and talking like a tough guy, eventually bringing in his girlfriend to argue with him. Then, after explaining their side to Zeldaboy, they get Ellie to invite TCS so they can talk with him and make sure he releases a proper apology. (TCSZeldaShit2.ogg). Eventually, Moka and her friends join and grill TCS. Then they leave TCS alone for a bit so he can work on his apology, until TCS's mom tells him to get off the computer because he has university classes tomorrow. After TCS leaves, Moka and her friends just start chatting about life (TCSPart3(CutOffLast10-15Minutes.ogg).
The funniest part? According to the Splanimations Archive, this all happened in the span of 2 months. He torpedoed his reputation 2 months into a "relationship" because he couldn't control his dick Link/Archive

And as already covered, TCS invited Peachy and Moka into the Lewd House. In fact, TCS telling Peachy about it is how the whole thing was found out in the first place, according to the Splanimations Archive.
Apparently, sensing that this was a scandal just waiting to be revealed, along with being concerned about how Peachy would feel, he left, talking to other minor Namisina46 about it.

The group that originally got into the Lewd House, the Seven Deadly Boomers, managed to get into TCS's Discord account and leak his Discord DMs. They then compiled it into a Dropbox titled "TehCanadianSpartan Two; Electric Bungaloo SFW".
They found that he ERPed in Alpha Swan's NSFW server, sent porn in LizzietheRatcicle's staff group chat, had Boxie's server's staff and his friends to witch hunt people against him, and of course he ERPed with minors in DMs. Below are some choice screenshots, related to TCS.

According to the Splanimations Archive, sometime inbetween this point and 2022, Skylar Karategirl dumped him. Then, she claimed that TCS harassed and threatened her. I was not able to find proof of this, but I believe it since after 2022, he seems to have abandoned the TCS name. Link/Archive
It would be easy to believe that TCS simply left the Internet. However, TCS is still around, just operating under new names. In addition to ERPing with others, the leaked DMs show TCS sending Tweets and YouTube videos, which provides evidence towards his new identity: his new Twitter is Memelander (@sonicman1020) and his new Youtube account is DorQ.
The account is also an account based in Ontario, Canada, that joined in October 2012. However, Canada is large enough that the similarities could be a coincidence. But going through the tweets being sent in DMs, all of the surviving tweets are posted from this account.

What does TCS do nowadays?
On his Memelander Twitter account, he decided to move himself towards the Sonic and object-show communities, 2 notoriously autistic fandoms. In addition, he seems to have taken an interest in gacha games, specifically NIKKE, Honkai: Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero, and Arknights. In addition, I've shown before that TCS owns and uses the DorQ YouTube account; after this came out, he started retroactively removing the DorQ2k Twitter link from the description in his uploads (probably to hide the drama from his viewers). If you didn't look at the Discord screenshots, TCS says that FlutterCherryNM is "age of consent." While that is true in Canada (AOC is 16), the problem is that FlutterCherryNM is an Asian-American, and in the USA federal age of consent is 18. Canada/Archive US Federal/Archive

Even before his biggest controversy, he was causing trouble. In the Splatoon GMOD/SFM community, it is common for creators to use others' OCs in their videos for whatever reason. When he was small(er), Jacktropolis would quarrel with other bigger SplatSource animators, like LizzieRaticle15 and ghostoftime1 for not supporting him even though he used their OCs in their videos.

If Jack made a video on Fartimations, it seems lost to time now. This, along with him joining the Anti-Inkling Group on August 23, 2019 (which I assume was a trolling group at the time) was bad enough that Fartimations went to Roseviel (a hacking organization, according to Jack) and paid one of their hackers to constantly hack Jack's Discord servers over and over. The hackers must have done some nasty stuff, considering when Jacktropolis checked his Discord, he was "legitimately hurt," was called a "fucking Nazi," and saw that people were trying to break him and his then-girlfriend Rudy apart. Roseveil told Jack that Fartimations would stop paying for the hacks if Jack owned up to his own toxicity, which caused Jack created the video below.

TLDR; because of Jack exposés towards two people with fetishes and his "toxicity," Fartimations (you can imagine what fetish he has) paid a hacker to repeatedly hack his Discord servers, and didn't stop until Jack made a video "owning up" to said "toxicity."
As seen in the post I made about TehCandadianSpartan, TCS and Jack mutually disliked each other. They were forced to associate because of RudyOctolingVA: Rudy was dating Jack and was friends with TCS. TCS seems to have "started" it: before his drama with Peachy, since TCS was hostile towards Jack's political beliefs (communism) and the evidence below was released during the initial drama with Peachy. TCS was worried about Rudy, and threatened to "get very personal" if Jack decided to "mess up Rudy" his beliefs. TCS would also show up in Jack's Discord server, I assume to start trouble.

As expected of a communist, he ruled his server with an authoritarian hand. Like many other Discord servers, he had mods and admins, but Jack didn't allow them to do anything without his permission. If they did anything without his approval, criticized him, or talked back to him, they would get scolded by Jack. In October 2019, there was a big argument between Jack and his server mod/admins based on how he treated them.

Another mod, Nifty, invites A Polish Guard to this Discord server, which is how A Polish Guard got the screenshots for the videos. After A Polish Guard says he plans on making a video about this, Scott quickly bans A Polish Guard and deletes the evidence. Both Scott and Jacktropolis throw Nifty under the bus for inviting A Polish Guard, and Jacktropolis confronts him in Discord DMs.

When this tweet came out, Jack had been 18 for around a month; however, according to the Discord call in Jack's server after this tweet, Jack was 17 when he did the ERP and implied he stopped before he turned 18. On February 15, 2020, at roughly 4:45 PM EST, different group of trolls decided to work together to raid's Jack's post-rebrand server, with the intent of shutting it down. The main participants were Scott, KingRyanVA, GeneticShowdown, Blazin, DjSwaggy, Jian, Kharn, and Astro (some were staff of Jacktropolis's old Discord servers). People in the server started getting banned for calling Jack a pedo (because of what he did with Lori).
When SquidParty Oscar complained about Jack "censoring the truth," Jack banned Oscar with the following message:

Once Oscar's ban happened, the revolt was started: they started to spam the phrase "MONKEY NOISE" in the #general chat, spreading to other channels once they got hit with slowdowns/mutes.

However, I don't think this is him, since the guy in the picture seems to look different to the Splatoon Jacktropolis. Plus, the account was created in November 2012; as stupid as Jack acted in the past, I really don't believe he was using Instagram at age 11.
It's also a private account, so I can't see the followers/following to confirm it is actually the Jacktropolis I have been talking about or not.
There is also a user on the PokéBeach (a XenForo-based forum around the Pokémon TCG) with the username Jacktropolis. It is likely not him.

You may notice I said "almost." That's because in Jack's attempt to scrub everything related to "Jacktropolis," he forgot to change one thing: his Casting Call Club account. In the SplatSource community, Casting Call Club is used by voice actors to find work, or animators looking for voice actors. When you type https://www.castingcall.club/jacktropolis, it takes you to a Casting Call Club account of a "ShilohJackVT."
This account was created in March 2018 (when Jack would have been active as "Jacktropolis"), has "Voice Descriptions" with French and German (these are likely another word for accents, but Jack studied German and French in high school, according to DMs with QueenLoriVA), and under "Skills & Interests" has History and American Civil War Reenacting (two things Jacktropolis was a fan of).
For further proof (based on this account alone), the account is followed by what appears to be SunnytheInklingCat's Casting Call Club account, and follows Rudy's Casting Call Club account (despite him last using it ~November 2024, based on the "last seen 4 months ago")

Why do pedophiles infest this community?
Besides the obvious (Nintendo franchise = more likely kids/teens), the barrier to entry for GMOD/SFM Splatoon is (relative to other Splatoon subcommunites) very low and very simple. All it takes is a Steam account and whatever the price of Garry's Mod is, compared to other forms of art (need some sort of skill to be looked at) and competitive (need to actually be good at the game, also likely not kids).
From what I've seen, it's really easy to "create" OCs and "art" in SplatSource, and also (relatively) easy to get a small following just pumping out the same content as everyone else. The OCs are a very easy self-insert avatar, so it's easy (especially for the children/ (wo)manchildren) for these people to fall in love with the OC and not the person behind the screen, especially if its e-dating. This community also likes to be "nice," which to them means no criticism or callouts, so people that have been accused to impropriety with minors can get away with it by playing it off as "past drama, that was [x] years ago," as seen when MrMaddness02 tried to defend LizzieRatcicle15 about Lewd House. Plus, add in the fact that many people in this community use Discord.
Discord + easy access to teens/kids = you already know.
Why has no one here talked about this community so far?
I might be making some assumptions here, but a lot of it is really dumb Discord/DeviantArt drama, and most Kiwi Farmers don't seem like the type to be using Discord/DeviantArt. Plus, Splatoon doesn't seem like the kind of game someone who uses the Kiwi Farms plays. Even if they do play Splatoon, I don't think they would be interested in the GMOD/SFM subcommunity.
Where are the trannies?
I brought it up before, but surprisingly, almost none of the people I have covered or seen are (at least obviously) transgender. I'm not really sure what causes this, despite Splatoon (and it's competitive scene, especially) seemingly harboring transgenders, from what I have seen. I will admit that most of what I know from this community is from the DeviantArt side, so it's possible I'm missing some big cases involving trannies. Maybe it's a case like Pokémon; it's a franchise with such a large fanbase that the proportion of trannies mirrors the real life proportion, so if you see a girl in this community, she is likely to be a True and Honest (if ugly) woman. Maybe it's also that people who are transgender tend to be highly sexual, and with people being on edge about sexual behavior (Lewd House, TCS, Jacktropolis, all in 2019) they probably stick to their own corners of Discord/Deviantart.

I don't blame people for labelling these people as pedophiles, but because pedophilia is such a heavy accusation, I myself am a little hesitant to blanket label both Jacktropolis and everyone in the Lewd House as pedophiles.

It's possible that they didn't think "18" and thought their own countries' age of consent, and also why CuteYoshiLover tried to enter (she was 17 at the time). Either way, they should have seen something like this coming (giving more credence to my second theory). Maybe it was the SplatSource equivalent of Kompromat, which is why no one sounded the alarm until an outsider (Peachy) tipped the Seven Deadly Boomers off. There were 3 accounts I saw; milletowelsun31, milletowelsun32, and LKGAMINGARTISSTUPID. They were all based in Albania, but I doubt it's their actual location; Albania is the second option in the alphabetical list of countries you can put as your location in DeviantArt. They're all nuked now, but I managed to get 2 of the profile comments on AnimeGirlSplats archived before they were removed.
One of the accounts had the NSFW deviations in their gallery, but since they are all gone I can't check.
One of the posts made by one of these accounts (which I'm kicking myself for not archiving) was also spamming another NSFW (but more informative) image, exposing someone else (who I can't remember right now) basically saying that this SplatSource artist made NSFW of one of their underage OCs and made incest art of a mom and son pair of OCs. However, the account is nuked now, so you will have to take my word for it.
This private information is unavailable to guests due to policies enforced by third-parties.
I was looking at some Splatoon GMOD animations to see the difference between them and other GMOD animations (such as TF2 GMOD animations) and something came to my mind about the animations in Splatoon GMOD specifically:
Generally, Garry's Mod animations seem to fall into 3 types: frame-by-frame, puppeteering (disable drawing on the Physgun beam and moving the limbs around), and using Stop Motion Helper/Henry's Animation Tool (similar to real animation programs, a la Blender/Maya/SFM). Most of the bigger accounts seem to use SMH/HAT and use Garry's Mod like an actual animation tool, so many of the smaller/newer members seem to follow suit. Some of the smaller ones tend to use puppeteering (which also tends to be the ones inspired by SMG4, who uses puppeteering for dialogue but otherwise uses SMH, probably because they need to pump out videos every week).
I might be showing my age here, but I bring this up because it seems nobody in this community does animations like early machinimas; ex. kitty0706 or earlier GMOD Idiot Box episodes by Das Bo Schitt, where it was more cartoony and slapstick, with ragdolls being hit and flying around. I can see why no one continues to do machinimas like that, since puppeteering and ragdoll stuff can get limited in expression, but even modern GMOD animators like STBlackST still do some jokes with ragdolls falling and stuff.
It might also be because most modern Splatoon GMOD videos I have seen are more "serious," where there isn't room for slapstick/ragdoll comedy, while the "funny" videos tend to be videos reanimating TikTok/Instagram memes. It also might be because of what Jones talked about with Jacktropolis in the long Discord call, where he talks about how everyone basically copies each other; because none of the big SplatSource animators do it like the machinimas of old, no one new does it that way either. This may also tie into the fact that the SplatSource community tends to trend around teenage, so it's very likely most of the SplatSource people active today have never seen or grew up with those types of machinimas. It could also be part of a trend where media meant to appeal to kids and young teens these days tend to be more serious + have lore, which these early machinimas definitely don't have.
It could also be a fanbase thing; someone who played a lot of Source games (like me) might love seeing violence and ragdoll stuff, but someone who grew up with Nintendo game like Splatoon (quite tame despite being a shooter, also no ragdolls) might not like violence as a form of comedy. There's also the cliché "they can't do THAT nowadays" feeling in most of the old GMOD machinimas (average modern Splatoon fans would probably balk at hearing the word "fag" or "retard" that was used a lot back in those old machinimas)
I'm admittedly pretty biased, but it's a shame that people don't do this nowadays; from experimenting around with GMOD in the past (though not Splatoon GMOD) I find those types of old machinimas to be both (relatively) easy to do and still pretty funny; it's odd that no one in this community tried to do something similar.
ETA: After perusing through some more animations, Alex Spider might be one of the only "SplatSource animators" (though in this case I use the term loosely, he's more like a general Nintendo GMOD animator) that takes advantages of Garry's Mod's ragdolls for physical humor, as seen in some of his more recent animations. Makes sense, as he was around for that time of Garry's Mod machinimas (hell, he even made a kitty0706 reference in one of his most recent videos, Mario and Sonic VS Squid Game (and yes, it is as ridiculous as it sounds). Nice to see at least some of the classic stuff still lives on, in a way.
Bonus; while looking at one of Brian Jackson's videos for the above thoughts, I saw an interesting comment:
I guess he never bothered to revisit old SplatSource animations to delete some of his YouTube comments, especially not Brian Jackson (one of his "enemies" who allegedly harassed Rudy). I've been using YouTube for a long time, and even I think I haven't watched this many videos. Even though some of the videos seem to be in multiple playlists, this is thousands (possibly even tens of thousands) of videos saved in hundreds of playlists.
