Ah,
@Mix . The one poster so cortically challenged that it can make my clammy cadaver crawl from its sickly cot and claw my way to a keyboard to respond. Some might think
@Mix 's aggressive self-entitlement and hubris isn't in the spirit of Christmas, but I prefer to think of him as the gift that keeps on giving. At this rate, he will provide entertainment all the way through to Christmas 2025 (though not during it because he's banned from future SS).
I'm torn between defending the helpers he's attacking and not bothering because literally nobody believes him in the first place. But for the record, the Helpers worked very hard and put in a lot of effort to make this event work. So instead I'll just list out the limits of
@Mix's thinking. The reason being that I've always hated the TV and Movie tropes of Autistic = Genius. When people like
@Mix come along they refute it better than anything I could do. He's that special kind of Self-Made Idiot that simply cannot see reality around him.
A few examples of his detachment:
- Being so full of hubris about his game that he thinks inviting someone to work on it for him is a gift they should be grateful for.
- Disregarding that the point of the SS is to make something yourself for the recipient. no matter your skills or talent, it's about going to the lengths of making something for somebody. A bunch of harvested assets clearly do not qualify under the rules of the event.
- Power-levelling to the point of self-doxing in this thread, thus condemning his game to be associated with his account here in the (very) hypothetical scenario in which it is ever released.
- Claiming he was limited by his recipient's particulars. We are explicit that we can act as intermediaries with the recipient and we frequently do. I handled multiple cases where a giver asked me to ask their recipient for clarifications or more specifics and I know all the other helpers did as well. The only reason for @Mix to not have more details is because they didn't ask. Which is why I will say that his complaining about this is just a post-fact rationalisation to try and justify his actions.
- Claiming in this thread that because of his actions his recipient was lucky enough to receive two gifts. Not really. One thing of value and one worthless thing, is still only one thing of value. What actually happens is that a generous SpiritBot gets called in by us with reduced time and generously makes a gift. His actions increased the workload on other people
- Repeatedly insulting and raging about helpers for telling him what he didn't want to hear.
- Thinking he will ever release his game (or so far as I can tell, thinking that he has the skills to complete it).
Honestly, to have a go at people like
@TheCuntler or
@XANA (who are not mods, so quit demanding they step down) for all their huge efforts this year, shows a quite amazing gap between your view on events and that thing the rest of us like to call Reality. And it might feel not in the Christmas spirit but this is still the Farms, and it was created to laugh at lolcows. So keep moo'ing for the next twelve months as far as I'm concerned. I don't think any of the people you're insulting are actually that bothered given I genuinely think not one person reading this thread takes your side.
Werecow: The Milking is probably a better title for your project, frankly.
Belated Happy New Year to everyone, btw!
