There seems to be a lot of coping going on, so I thought having a 'grateful thread' would be a healthy way to balance that out.

Feel free to format your thankfulness however you want.
Whether it be something recent you want to mention your appreciation for, or just going through some general things that you are grateful to have.

I guess I will start with one.

  • I'm grateful to have chosen the university I did and doing so because of a specific degree+program versus something like college ranking, location, popularity, or campus

Kinda hard for me to know what what exactly to be grateful for so I may as well say I'm grateful for the parents I have who do support me, especially for college. Also grateful for the successes I made in college, such as holding a high enough GPA to get on the President's List or even just passing a math class with a decent grade later on.

I'm grateful that

  1. Shit
  2. Fuck
  3. COCKS!
  4. Jews did 9/11!
  5. I mean whatever.
I'm not sure how this will work.

  • Informative
Reactions: hm yeah
  • I am thankful for the opportunities for engaged learning my university offers, even if I'm stressed out by this symposium.
  • I am grateful that my middle and high school offered Latin because of the leg up it's given me.
  • I am grateful for my medical team even if I wanna clock some of 'em.

I am grateful for being in the transition program for three years. Being there really changed my life. I feel more aware of the world around me thanks to them. I'm also grateful to the people close to me and my dogs.

This would sound really weird, but I'm grateful of finding out about Xenoblade. The moment I played it to the very end, that's where it changed my life completely. The game also introduced me to other series so that's a huge plus.

Since I've been angsting it up a little here over the past month, I definitely need to even things out.

I'm grateful for:

-My boyfriend. Even though we live over 3000 miles away from each other, he is definitely one of the primary things that keeps me sane.

-Skype, for making the above possible.

-My voice teacher. I don't know if having a musical-spirit-dad-thing or whatever is possible, but this man is amazing. He helped me get into and through 4 years of conservatory, and come out the other end a relatively sane individual. He's still guiding me through my technique and process today. I can never take for granted his patience, compassion, instruction, and insight.

-My coworkers, and even managers, at the grocery store I work at. I might hate having a job where snooty people think I'm their personal servant instead of being one of the faces of a small business (I just hate serving ppl, tho), but that said, the actual people I work with are super nice. I can't say anything bad about...95% of them, and even then it's pretty petty stuff. Back to the good things, though. There's this one guy a year younger than me who always has this super positive attitude. It's not even the annoying kind. He's really genuine and personable about it. Whenever we have the same shift, he makes the time at the register not so shitty. I could say that about pretty much everyone, though. He's just the best at it. But yeah, I'll actually miss these people when I'm done cashiering in 10 days.

-My dumb kitties. They're the best baka neko-sama-chan-desus around.

I'm freaking grateful for the job I have and for the people I work with. There are still many other individuals who still think this place treats me like dirt, but my boss just has the most utmost high respect for me. He invited me to an after-hours jam with the songwriters Monday night, it was so awesome!

I still don't have my promotion, but all he's afraid of is me losing my cool, calm and collectiveness once I do get more responsibilities. We've gotten very far over the past 3.5 years.

I'm grateful to have a loving and supportive family, especially since so many people I know aren't so lucky. And speaking of people I know, I'm grateful for all my wonderful friends. I honestly would not be here if I didn't have such a great support network. And yes, that includes you guys.

On a more trivial note, I'm grateful that my birthday us going well so far. I'm grateful that I feel exceptionally pretty today and am generally in a good mood. I'm grateful for all the birthday wishes my friends have sent my way, and for the awesome gifts I've received. I'm grateful for the fact that I'm going to have a lovely dinner with my friends and family at a local pub on Sunday for my birthday party.

I just have so much to be grateful for, and I'm glad I've come this far.
