š· The Great Gunt Bounty Hunt: Redux - Ralph is on the run and is lulled into a false sense of security as another seething pig takes to Twitter to do what he never could.
Iām still 50-50 on whether he shows up to Guntamania at all.
At some point Gunt is going to have to cross the border, because thatās the only way to reset the Visa exemption clock and re-up his Mexican vehicle insurance. With that said, he could cross the border for a single day, take care of the insurance thing, and cross right back over. He doesnāt have to go all the way to NJ for that.
If he goes to NJ, heās guaranteed to be served by Vickers and everyone on Earth can see that the wrestling event is going to be a huge failure.
Does he have that much invested to come back to the US?
If he was smart. He would stay in mexico and lay low.
But we are talking about Gunt. So yea he is gonna do the most retarted thing he can think of.

He has to come back eventually, because although US citizens are exempt from having to acquire a visa from Mexican officials if theyāre in Mexico as a tourist, that exemption is not forever. Thereās a time limit to it. 180 days is the usual although for a while they were giving less at the border like 90 or 120. I think itās back to automatic 180 now. Also, to drive a US car in Mexico you have to have Mexican car insurance. You have to buy this before you enter into Mexico past the border town area or if youāre coming in on a ferry you have to purchase this before you drive onto the boat. This insurance is usually sold to cover the amount of time of your exemption, so if Gunt got 180 days exempt, then his car insurance was for 180 days.
The only way for Gunt to renew the insurance and reset the exemption clock is for him to renter the US, buy the insurance, then cross back over to sign the paperwork and reset the 180 day clock. If he doesnāt do this then heās fucked, and Iām sure heās been warned about this enough that he understands it. The MX Govt doesnāt play like the US does. If he gets pulled over in the Ralphatruck without the MX insurance the truck is getting impounded and heās not getting it back. If they find that heās exceeded his exempt time in-country then heās getting detained and with no family to buy his way out itās straight-up Midnight Express time for him, at least until the US consulate is informed and they have him shipped back to the States.
So Ralph WILL be coming back to the US, if only for a day or two. I figure that might be why he hasnāt cancelled even though itās obvious how badly this event is going to fail. Because he and Meigh have to get back to the US side to reset the visa exempt clock. Guess weāll see.

Ralph said on his show a few days ago that he needs to take the truck back to the states in the near future. I forget if he said specifically what month.

I agree. Guntās idea of being a sharp business man is to get losers he knows via the KS to try and help him put on event using a shoe string budget.
Sisco is extra extra pathetic, the last guy just let Gunt use his bowling alley for free.. Sisco figured the big brain move after a totally failed political run stunt and selling MLM insurance is to sponsor a Gunt event so he can publicly wrassle a big negro in a bingo hall in a NJ ghetto and spend a couple thousand to do it. His streaming career will certainly skyrocket after this endeavor. Nothing like teaming up with Ethan Ralph for a rocket ride to the top of the sector.
Below (regional copyright permitting) a story song titled Eerin Go Braghag, by the late Cathal Coughlan. It concerns a petty fugitive who flees the US, across the border into Mexico, in the company of a talking donkey with the head of a pig. Life (sort of) imitates art.
I have a friend who works on cars professionally and I decided to ask him about this. According to him, it's not uncommon for people to not know how to rotate their tires or change their oil. As said by someone else here, it's entirely possible that Ralph doesn't have the tools to perform basic maintenance. A lot of people don't.
Unfortunately, my friend says it's also not uncommon for dealerships to blatantly lie to their customers and tell them that they need a bunch of services done when they really don't. It's how they make money and they know that a lot of people will just plop down their debit cards and say "Do what you think needs done" if they think it will keep their cars in good condition. So I won't bash Ralph for taking care of his vehicle.
What I will bash Ralph for is not showing as much attention and care to his child as he did to his truck. He has potentially fucked up that little girl's life by dragging her to a country where she has no family or friends, where her parents have no resources or assistance. Hell, I've read that they sometimes don't even have running water. Not only that, but those baby supplies they got could have been a huge help, regardless of who left them. Things like diapers can get expensive (especially if the kid is sick and dealing with diarrhea) and yet here's the rage pig, throwing away perfectly good baby care supplies. If anything, it shows that internet trolls care more about his child than he does.
I don't feel bad for Pantsu and I sure as hell don't feel bad for Ralph. My sympathies go to that poor little girl who just had her young life ruined because her poor excuse of a father didn't want to face the consequences of his actions.
Find local businesses, view maps and get driving directions in Google Maps.

But a lot of the little neighborhoods use similar looking designs so I'm not very confident. I can see the video being shot in the backyard of one of those though.
Take, for example, this steet view: https://www.google.com/maps/@21.056...4!1sMGkdruhov0-pCCaHKnsPMA!2e0!7i13312!8i6656
Looks pretty similar, though not in the backyard. And those houses do look nicer than the first place they were at.
Thanks to @Phony Chicken finding out what could potentially be Ethan's neighborhood based of the video Pantsu posted.
on the left side, there's a ladder that leads to the roof of the building. Nearly all the houses have an identical ladder position.
some of the houses in Merida have a tinaco, which supplies the house with water.
a Tinaco in place
The structure of the wall and color are all identical from the street view.
(An example, not his actual home)
It's not 100% confirmed where exactly the gunt is located but it appears the general location is narrowed down.
Ethan said himself he lives in a better house then his previous shack.

Damn, I missed that post since it was buried in the Pantsu thread.
I posted several pages ago about why I suspected they were somewhere in northeastern Merida, in particular somewhere nearby the Plaza Uptown and Plaza Altabrisa shopping malls.
The neighborhood posted by @Phony Chicken in Temozon Norte is just at the northwestern edge of the area I believe the Ralphs to be living in. It's a 15 minute drive to the Plaza Altabrisa mall. I looked myself through satellite maps and came to the conclusion that most of the subdivisions in this area of Merida too look similar to make any firm conclusions, but the ladder is a convincing data point since it makes Ralph's subdivision more distinguishable.
There's three pieces of additional information that may prove useful to people here.
Ralph has confirmed he lives in a house with multiple stories.
I think I saw someone claim that Ralph said he has a balcony but I didn't hear that myself.
Ralph has confirmed the house he's renting came furnished. We know for a fact the house came with a bunk bed. He also explicitly confirmed these wooden chairs came with the rental:
If you're lucky, you may be able to find a rental listing still online for a house that comes with a picture including those chairs and satisfies the rest of those criteria, since he only left the Airbnb around Christmas.
I looked through rental listings shortly after the New Year and had no luck, back when we had a much poorer image of the wooden dining chairs:
However, I was focusing in what was then my preferred location for Ralph, namely the Maya and Paraiso Maya neighborhoods of Merida which are within walking distance of Plaza Altabrisa. If he is living considerably to the northwest, that listing may have been out there and I may have missed it. Temozon Norte appears to be just outside the ringroad that surrounds Merida, which means I probably wouldn't have bothered checking any rental listings from there.

LOL. Did Ralph announce she commented on his pawpaw pimp ring? Holy shit Ralph is a moron. Salesmanship 101 is to notice something about a potential client and pay them a empty compliment after greeting them.
She was really struggling with Ralph until she noticed that hideous ring. She figured he must be proud of that gaudy ass ring if he was wearing it in public over top of a crusty rash. "Hmmm, the man doesn't bath, shave, he's in sweat pants and has food stains on his t-shirt...but he's wearing a ring! Eureka! "SeƱor what a beautiful ring you are wearing" I bet Ralph rambled for five minutes about his pawpaw and how it's akshully worth $50k.
Ralph really has no clue that ring just screams pawn shop special* and signals he is actually poor white trash, but I guess he can't afford a nice heavy gold chain to pass off the "not broke this month" look.
The only men's jewelry that signals rich and successful is a Philippe Patek (or equivalent) watch and cufflinks. Men trying to show off with expensive jewelry will usually buy it for their wife/girlfriend to wear, which makes Ralph wearing his pimp drill bit ring while Pantsu's sports a QVC, 2 for 1 engagement ring and wedding band, even funnier. Ralph never fails to act more womanly than Pantsu.
However, the pawpaw pimp ring goes well with Ralph's Tommy Hilfiger socks and Timberline boots for the total "2004 teenager who sells weed in front of 7-11" look.
The reason the pimp rings like Ralph's are pawn shop specials (used to be a dozen trays of these rings in pawn stores) is because they are old, inferior diamonds. Around 1918 the brilliant cut and new machines were invented to precisely cut diamonds that made them sparkle like never before. So all the old jewelry, esp jewelry with the common, poorer quality, old mine cut diamonds, fell out of favor. By 1960, thanks to people dying and estate liquidation, you had all this old jewelry filling up pawn stores. The stores would melt down the gold but were left with all these old mine cut diamonds. Everyone that had the money to spend was buying the new perfectly cut brilliant diamonds and pawn stores didn't know what to do with all these old mine cut diamonds. The solution was to start making big ugly men's rings with the old stones. The type of men who bought these rings didn't know anything about diamonds except that fancy rich people wore them and the bigger the better, so it was a perfect way to make some money off guys like Ralph's pawpaw with old cloudy stones most people turned their nose up at. It at least made them more money on the stones than the other option - selling them to industrial drill manufacturers. Ironically when Ralph's ring finally ends up at a pawn store again it will actually be smelted down and the diamond sold to a drill manufacture. The pawn stores milked the last bit of retail profit out of those poor quality stones by the late 1980's. Pawn stores don't even bother with repurposing stones in new jewelry anymore.
