This occurrence is good for Kiwifarms; it is not so often that such a large quantity of lolcows from Twitter come out of the woodwork and make themselves known. For the farms, this means not only an influx of lols, but also a trove of potential cows warranting their own threads. Your public tistic seething is just shooting yourself in the foot. The door did look like what I saw commonly in Japan if I'm remembering the photo correctly.
Never mind, just looked again, looks like a standard US door/lockset.

If the "Japanese doorknob" is just the one that sticks out a little and then makes a 90 degree angle, then that's nothing special. There are several houses in my area that use them, including one of my childhood homes.

I can't tell if that's the one we're talking about because googling for Japanese Doorknob gets me a ton of dumb fucking whores licking random doorknobs for clout.
