The years match with the info posted earlier in the thread. That's enough information for me to break reasonable doubt and assume the information as genuine.

The farms has a non-intervention policy so that means nobody posting here might bother to check if he's alive through the US Embassy in Tokyo (there's even a US number so for burgers there's no excuse of international calls), aside from perhaps though who (rightly) consider the livelihood of this dude critical to the wellbeing of the site.

However there are thousands of people reading this thread right now, and nobody has even confirmed the status of this guy. He could be alive right now and on the verge of actual suicide for all we know.

Why hasn't anyone reading this done what is ostensibly the right thing to do? Call up the embassy and say you're worried about the wellbeing of a US National. For all we know Byuu may still be alive but we can't ensure he won't actually kill himself in a few days if adequate help isn't delivered to him.

I was around before Etika died, and a ton of people were spamming hentai under his tweets and laughing at him in real life. It’s ironic people get mad at Keemstar but oftentimes don’t mention hundreds of people also clowned on him during a time he needed mental help, only to do a 180 when it was too late to save him. Keemstar is an idiot, but he was far from the only one (no, this does not apply to all of his fanbase).

There's a second Near related post on r/Games where the comments seem much more skeptical about the validity of the suicide and of course tranny jannies have been active there too. They deleted an entire chain which, if I recall correctly, was just people remarking on how strange the story is and how everyone is taking Marcan's word as absolute truth. In particular some were raising questions about the phone call story and how odd it was that the caller made no effort to call the police. I can only assume that's what compelled the jannies to delete it since there was nothing in there that violated their gay rules.

How was the ares repo updated 8 hours ago? I checked the repo and there were no issues or pull requests from other people, so the only person who could have updated something with the repo is Near himself?

There was pull requests and issues sent to the other repos that were updated recently, so those would make sense for them to be "updated"

Github has a bunch of bots that will auto-update security vulnerabilities on your repos, and those bump up the "last updated" date even if you haven't done any actions on that repo at all. Looking at my public profile, my top two most recently updated projects are listed as a 6 and 7 days ago, and both are repos that I haven't actually touched for the past 7 months. So, unfortunately that's not a sign of anything necessarily.
