I'd certainly agree, but do any moderates even know who these people are? I think moderates are busy, like, painting and walking their dog and talking to their family and shit, not learning about...whatever you'd call all this. Online faux-political parasocial groups? I don't really know what to call these types of people or the things they engage with.

But yeah, it has to be tough putting all that work into getting a bunch of people to see you as a political leader, only to realize you have no idea what to do. Better send them after some random dude to keep them busy or they might figure you out.

Tbf Thiel's attempt to essentially buy out the populist right is very disconcerting (although he is backing some decent candidates like Blake Masters), and Kent gives off major controlled opposition vibes. However, I'm not sure that this is the best way to go about sinking his campaign. Why not run a write-in campaign against him (it's too late to register new primary candidates)?
Ultimately, the scenario you're looking for is one in which vote tallies in the primary and/or general elections reflect that Kent lost as a result of your efforts, not because whichever cuckservative running against him was more likeable to voters.
Simply countersignalling his campaign without any additional actions is just passive aggressive and petty.
