And the Vita fags still hate that the best version of every game is on Steam and more cheaper, you can get any game for like 5 bucks or so except Victory, that cost like 15 bucks , i have 4 games that people have gave me in summer sales but only finished the first, and got bored because if you have all the DLCs you can cheese the game by rage leveling to 100 in the Colosseum, some day im going to finish the others

Before today, whenever I saw the word "waifu", something in my brain warned me not to look into that. This thread finally exceeded my threshold of curiosity, and now I know what it means. The something in my brain was right.

On a technical level, here goes (not counting side games):

Rebirth 1: Not too hard at first, though the first major boss fight with a CPU can be a big difficulty spike, and later on will punish you if you don't do a modest bit of grinding early. Otherwise, not all that hard a game, and the DLC really do make it easy to cheese the difficulty into a joke.

Rebirth 2: A lot easier than in Rebirth 1, balance is a lot better, but using the DLCs will make it a joke. Game engine is a bit wobbly for some people, sporadic crashes are possible for people using some video drivers.

Rebirth 3: Difficulty remains reasonable throughout, but DLCs again turn it into a joke.

Megadimension VII: While DLCs make it a lot easier, getting the character DLCs at least is a good idea, makes certain parts of the game go from hard to bearable on a first playthrougth, but turn the rest off unless you want to sleepwalk through the rest of the game.

Not too hard if you were competent at the first three games, but I'd say it's stock difficulty is between that of 1 and 3.

tl;dr; Unless otherwise stated, don't turn on DLCs for a first playthrougth, they suck the fun and challenge out of the game.
