The idea that aliens would prove religion is wrong.... makes no sense.

Alien life absolutely would disprove religion… if it weren’t already disproven by a thousand other things.

The Bible says that God created one Earth and populated it with humans “in his image”. God sent his Son to Earth only. If there are other planets with intelligent life then God ignores them for no reason; how would they even know of God’s existence?

I mean it is religion not christianity, the societies that succeeded in history all have a religion, why would it be different for ay lmaos? We are already assuming that they have better tech which implies logistics which implies a society. Plus, carcinization is a thing, maybe a similar thing could be happening to aliens societies and our own too.

Reddit atheists basically assume anyone religious is retarded and won't be able to refute arguments they came up with in five-minute, or more likely got from a reddit post. I'm sure the catholic church, and most major religions, have a contingency plan for if extra terrestrial life is discovered.

Job 9:10 states among a list of descriptions of what God stands for, "Which doeth great things past finding out; yea, and wonders without number." Wouldn't one of such numberless wonders be other inhabited planets? Back in those days, mankind looked up at the night sky and wondered what was up there. It'd be a testament to how far humanity can go as God desires His creations to excel to greatness. Space is considered the final frontier for a reason, as humans naturally are curious and desire to seek out truths. Most of "enlightened" folk want to use those truths to disprove God's existence instead of seeking out what exactly God's work entails.

Even so, given that religion is ingraved in culture, an alien race would definitely have a religion or more, though it's up in the air as to what that religion is like. If it turns out to be similar to any religion on Earth, they may not actually call it that simply because that's how language works. And who knows, our existence could potentially prove or disprove that religion.

Personally I believe there's others out there who know of our world (if not aware of us), we're just not able to contact them at all for one reason or another. It's a great thought to have as to what they're like in relation to us, it's just something that may never be answered, least not in this lifetime.

Honestly if God has truly infinite, and I mean INFINITE power, then what's stopping him from creating ten or a trillion more unique lifeforms and universes.
Why didn't he create another God, one he could talk and interact with on an equal level?

Where does it explicitly say no other planets or only earth?
Jesus used parables relatable to the society he was in. He used a mustard seed as an example of something tiny. There’s smaller seeds, but saying ‘…this tropical orchid seed…’ would have gotten him a ‘u wot mate? ‘ so he used the smallest seed relatable to the people he was speaking to.
The Bible is hardly going to rattle off a list of other planet to a bunch of people who has no idea what a solar system was. It’s directed at US, here on earth. If I buy a toaster I do t expect to get a user manual for a million types of domestic appliance, just my toaster

There was a time in the 70s and 80s when Aliens ere pretty much thought of AS God. Any race that made it into space would be beautiful, holy and enlightened creatures like the ones in Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Lots of new Age woo woo revolved around this and still does.

Who says he didn't? Or that others didn't already exist?

I mean all those other mythologies (the Norse and Greek pantheons etc.) must've come from somewhere.

angels aliens demons and gods
things that have not been physically proven
