They fail to understand that both groups are different and how they can integrate and relate into American life.

Its eternally funny that Indians are obsessed with spice, when one of the main reasons it became such a big thing is because they never really figured out food preservation.

I'm not quite convinced by this. To preserve food all you need is smoking and salt, technically.

What I think it is is the smellier you are and your environment is, the more you need stronger tastes to get over the rancid feces and BO in your nose and mouth. The cleaner you and your place is lets you enjoy flavors more because it's not competing with your pits and the cow shitting in your living room.

You need more spices, hotter food to overpower the stench you never thought to clean up. The cleaner White Europeans got, the more they enjoyed the flavors of the actual meats and herbs alone. But jeetland is still a trash filled shithole with a bunch of sweaty, unwashed dudes. They still need tons of spices to overpower the shit in the streets and the taste of shit on their unwashed hands.
