Really cheap parts that focus on being "cool" instead of functional with especially cheapo power supply. The only middle ground with pre built is to pick your own and have a place like Microcenter assemble it. (The prebuilt from Microcenter tend to be okay).

Sadly at one point during the covid bad times a prebuilt was the only way to get a decent price for 3000/4000 RTX card.
 
Slightly off topic for this thread but prebuilts are often put together really shoddy, as I've heard. Unless you're getting something super cheapo for boomer tier computering just put the parts together yourself. It's super easy and there are a bajillion YT tutorials on how to do it. I decided to get a PC again, do it myself for the first time, and I went for considering going for a tower again and building my own first within the span of about a week. It's easy as fuck to do if you aren't so retarded you can't understand insert A into slot B type instructions. Even as a complete noob you can pick better parts and put them together better than a factory can.

Meh… It’s not the 2000’s anymore. Theres plenty of QC and you won’t save a whole lot by putting it together yourself, and if you’re even halfway knowledgeable about hardware, you’ll know which prebuilt to avoid.

Shit, if you add up the time you spend on building it, it’s probably a deficit business.

You should build your own PC because it gives you a sense of accomplishment and because it’s fun. That’s about the long and the short of it.

(And you’ll also have a chance to avoid all the garish RGB crap they stuff into all the prebuilt PCs.)

Why can’t I get a gaming PC, besides an overpriced Razer that’s… Tasteful?

Instead it’s all plexiglass cabinet and “Look mom! The lights CHANGE COLOR!”

The really crazy thing is most of them wouldn't have been caught if they put in a little bit of effort to work to western standards. They would come in late, miss lots of work, be creepy to female co workers, take credit for other peoples work, blast jeet music, etc.
Any normal person who defrauded themselves into a dream job would at least try to get up to speed and not raise suspicion.
