A surgeon at the clinic, Dr. Ashwin Maharaj, had been billed online as “a leading expert in minimally invasive hemorrhoid and anorectal surgery.”

Pavliuc did not know, when she arrived at Maharaj’s clinic last spring, that he was under regulatory supervision due to troubling conduct, which Ontario’s medical watchdog says included “essentially experimenting on patients without their consent.”

The first procedure Maharaj performed on Pavliuc left her in more pain than before. The doctor had used a diagnostic procedure that a CPSO expert had already told him was outdated and risky.
Anal sphincter dilation – which typically involves putting multiple fingers up the anal canal to stretch the sphincter muscle – had been “abandoned decades ago” because of its high risk of sphincter injury and incontinence, according to an expert consulted by the CPSO.

Another patient had been sedated and operated on even though she did not need surgery, the investigation found. An assessor brought in by the CPSO said Maharaj used an unrecognized treatment – called an endoscopic hemorrhoidectomy – and the assessor “was not aware of any scientific evidence supporting such an approach.” The CPSO committee presiding over the investigation indicated that Maharaj was “essentially experimenting on patients without their consent,” and the CPSO expert said he showed a “profound deficiency in judgment.”

After receiving a laser treatment, Maharaj asked her if he could take a photo of her, she says. When she declined, he still pulled out his phone and took a photo, she alleges.

Honestly I put the chink tofu dreg IP stealing crumbling economy at about the same as poondia and its scammers. I really don't see a difference. Without the west neither of them would have any economy to speak of.

Well given that China are asians, they can still make some impressive things here and there (open sourcing their AI models* has no doubt pushed technological progress to people more easily, something that can't be said for faggot Altman or the other greedy western companies holding back progress for the sake of stocks and profit), there is not a single product from India that comes anywhere close to "impressive" or "passable".
China can make cool and trash products, India is nothing but trash.

*and before you say "muh chyna product, muh chynese censorship", you can download their models and run it locally and ask it all about tiananmen square to your hearts content with no internet connection relaying it back to the CCP.
