It's funny how the image of indians changed in the past 10 years or so. I think most people used to look at wealthy indian families in the US and think that's what most of them were like, then now everyone just associates them with the must disgusting and vile shit that happens everyday in India. I wonder what caused the shift, it had been happening before people brought attention to the H1B visa scam.

Apu definitely contributed. However, I'd like to think it began with /pol/ with the OG Pajeet comic that gave us "DESIGNATED SHITTING STREETS". This is exactly why the elites are trying to control information to prevent memes... kind like Rota Fortuna in the Medieval ages.

Indians have never been viewed highly in America. Most American's interactions with Indians were exclusively through telemarketers, scammers, and then eventually tech support employees, and almost always over the phone, rarely in person. My dad had an extra phone line in our house for dial up internet, and it was always the number he'd give out to businesses, knowing they'd sell the number to advertisers, so literally anytime that phone rang it would always be an Indian on the other end. It was like that my entire childhood up until we got DSL.

It's really insane if you think about it, D'Souza played a significant role in depersoning paleocons like Sam Francis and Pat Buchanan. His half-white daughter (Danielle D'Souza) is married to Congressman Brandon Gill (represents Texas 26th district). His two grandkids are three-quarters White.

This is probably the greatest example of the Streisand Effect we've seen in our generation. All the Indians had to do was ignore or be good humoured about it instead they have gave this video more traction than it ever would have had other wise.

He was always a bit of a worm though. He helped cancel the pro-american and anti-immigrant conservatives like Sam Francis and Pat Buchanan in the 90s.
I actually sent his initial response to my parents who have read many of Dinesh's books. They said it was gross and disappointing. That's from a boomercons. He trashed his legacy and probably got my parents more to my view of indians than anything else.

it was strange to me that people bought the idea that the guy who created basically the sequel to bumfights wouldn't do this for some minor complaints from jeets online.
