Adi Shankar did not made that documentary, it was some no-name jeet """"comedian"""" who hasn't appeared in anything relevant ever since that documentary, he did however, made this piece of autism about the subject matter, and got mocked so hard that he deleted it from his channel.

There are multiple points where it's abundantly clear that the problem they had with Apu was that he sounded like a stereotypical Indian and was voiced by a HUUUUUWITE (not actually white) man, and indian people in western countries didn't like "thank you come again" accent jokes. That's it. No really, that's actually where the "problem" starts and ends.

They literally make up shit about Apu that isn't even true just to pad it out and have more "legit" reasons to hate the character when it's clear the voice is the thing that actually bothers them. They know almost nothing about Apu beyond "thank you come again" and they just... assume he's a Poojeet-tier negative stereotype because of that when he's absolutely not. Shit, I’d forgotten that’d happened.

Apu was also a singularly dedicated father who jumped feet-first into providing for eight children. Yes, it was a gag in a TV show, but that level of familial devotion in Springfield is essentially unheard of. Them kids is gettin raised right. I’m dying in a home, I want one of the Nahasapeemapetilon octuplets double checking my meds, not Rod and Todd.

He is the only character on the show I would actually want to know in real life. Every other character is a terrible person in one way or another.

I can see why some people think with how they handled Apu in the last couple of years, that we won't be seeing a remaster/remake of The Simpsons: Hit & Run. Since Apu is a playable character along with having a whole level dedicated to him in that game. It's the Simpson game that has the most amount of stuff involving Apu.

If they did make one. I can see his section getting cut and replaced with someone else. Or just cut all together. Since i doubt that they would still keep him in the game even if it's he's voiceless. Or at all to avoid any future issues.

He's generally one of the smarter characters of the show. Or one that isn't generally as much as a idiot like a lot of the people in Springfield are.

I don't know whats more horrifying, the sheer animalism of jeets or the gullibility of retards across the internet who read his initial post and didn't see how painfully obvious that it was just engagement farming.
