This is most likely by design btw, the jeet CEO of Google talked about how they changed the search algorithm for Google and their properties like Youtube so you don't immediately get what you're looking for, in turn you spend more time searching which in turns makes it so that you are served more ads. These kind of schemes and scams to bleed you dry are common in tech companies that hit jeet singularity so I wouldn't be surprised if the streaming sites just copied that scam off of Google.

It definitely is. Back in 2008, search a video you want in youtube with a few key words, presto. Shows up immediately. Nowadays, you can't find shit. Just your recommendations and other unrelated stuff. Hence why if you want to search on youtube, you have to use shit like Yandex to find it. This shit is vile because imagine being someone looking for any useful information. You'd get served ads and shitty videos right off the cuff. Making learning laborious and painful.
Meanwhile, you look up anything to do with programming, you'd get Jeets right from the get go. Its ironic. India used a be spiritual center, now they're a source of spiritual rot.

My employer hired a jeet to oversee part of the department. The jeet has proceeded to hire several people from the sinking ship the jeet bailed out of along with bringing over the offshore company. Now there are several jeets in the office who associate with one another, do a very poor job, aren't held to any standard by the jeet executive. The jeet has also hired friends in do-nothing management positions where they are make architectural decisions despite them having no experience. The offshore company employees lack even the most basic skills to the point where one asked how to get to the control panel in Windows. There was a dwali celebration but there haven't been any other cultural celebrations. The jeet is also on the diversity team's management board. The jeet has, on several occasions, bragged about how much money the jeet's family has and how a cousin collects Porches. The jeet also defended arraigned marriages and calls jeets who don't act like jeets "ABCs" which is considered a slur by Indians but the cope is that it's a playful joke.
The workload has increased significantly. This jeet argues with other middle managers which has ruined the relationships with other departments and now they won't work with us. Everything is about saving face and looks so all new hires under the jeet are required to be in the empty office so the CEO can see asses in seats to show off. We have so much context switching that nothing gets done because we constantly have new projects down the line. We're treated like fast food employees so our input isn't valued(I'm assuming we're seen as lower caste) which means we are given orders to implement something in the most nonsensical way. The company's retention has been tanking and the people in the teams under the jeet are actively looking.

If you get an offer/etc from a company or things look good and you aren't sure if you want to make the leap just to end up being stuck with jeets, google the company name plus "rocketreach" or other sites like that. If you see jeet names, fucking bail, no matter how good they make it seem or how much money, it's just not worth it.
You can also do the same thing but google people's names you interviewed with etc and Linkedin will group them by company, look over on the right at the "you may also know..." etc. It isn't explicit about them being in the same company, but they are. Again, same shit, if you see just one jeet name, fucking bail.

It’s not for a job. I’ve got a cozy job at a small company that is in an industry that by law requires you be a US citizen. I was more worried about other companies we do business with or I would deal with personally. IE banks, Car makers, etc.
