From what I understand, the reason India is currently being drawn from for labor is because we've already attracted what we could of Mexican and broader Latin American talent. They also have a lot of talent that is currently in need (regardless of their quality). I am not saying they are better or anything; I am trying to articulate the rationale of why the nation is prioritizing attracting Indians right now.

Change "American exceptionalism" with "neoliberalism" and you're closer to the point.

This is like blaming the Civil War on the West Virginian and north Alabaman poor whites that never owned slaves because the rich in their states did, so they must've all been for it. America is geographically stratified, in that when you go to rich areas you get both physically and socially isolated from reality, into a world where neoliberalism is desirable for the sake of profit. This is all about profit.

"The same dynamic appears to be playing across the West" because the West is neoliberal. Thatcherist austerity never died in the UK (thanks to Blair) and look how they're faring with costs rising for everyone while only the London rich see any growth.
The US is more decentralized but the goal is the same.

You said it earlier, but if all they come to America for is to earn higher wages, then that's all they'll value about America. Imagine thinking corporate America gives a fuck about history or culture LMAO

Edit: Even if you're trying to play this Clinton-era "America is the leader of the free world!" thing, then I'd like you to explain that to Arab-Americans in the 2000s (who were actually economically contributing), who the DHS seemed much more eager to police even if Mexicans wound up being the largest group of deportees. We got involved in Iraq and Afghanistan and created refugee crises (for more cheap labor), and are still getting involved to do the same thing in the Mexican cartel wars and Palestine, so please enlighten me about American selflessness

i worked at a vape shop run by indians for a while and even though the business was literally the gravy train for some guy to ship over dozens of barely literate indians to work menial warehouse jobs, the entire business was hamstrung by the constant pressure to just outsource everything to the cheapest available option (because they didnt trust their cheap indian labor) and cut back on any sort of oversight due to suspicion and lack of trust (why have managers when managers can lie to cover for other people).

It got to the point where they weren't able to hire people anymore because they started treating the store employees like shit because they were ultimately responsible for managerial tasks, yet there was no oversight besides one guy responsible for 21 stores occasionally stopping by and yelling at a bunch of peons if they didn't get it right. And there were no systems to communicate what "doing it right" actually was because the indians would show up and contradict the supervisor. the actual indian overlords would call the store and you wouldn't be sure if they were indian scammers trying to phish you or the indians that run the joint, because they both treated you exactly the same threatening and aggressive attitude.

it was fascinating because it just confirmed that everything bad people say about indians is just true, they legitimately have dysfunction as a cultural value and want to import it everywhere they go as "culture."

Live indian menace reporting from the field:

Went to the dump and witnessed an indian driver attempt to drive the wrong way on a one way loop. There was not 1, but 2 signs indicating that it is a 1 way drive. Not only that, the car in front of him obviously went the correct way. I saw him go into reverse and then go the correct way behind me. I then noticed as I was leaving that he and his friend couldn't read the signs on the recycling bins either and started throwing trash into them. The workers were berating them as I drove off and the two indians were mumbling to each-other in gobbledygook.

10/10 Quality H-1B workers that our country so desperately needs to run our banks/IT/critical infrastructure.
 
Update, first some shit news.
Brought some folks over to my place for Christmas and I noticed one of those fuckers watching me from a distance as I welcomed my guests inside. Not long after they cranked their shitty club music all the way up and just decided to act like complete assholes...again. Obviously I went down and confronted them, which they challenged and told me to fuck off and "call the police, see what happens" or something along those lines. Since I'd sooner go to prison for homicide than be a bitch, I called the police immediately in front of their face.
Police came, the shitskins immediately told them I had threatened them with a weapon and screamed at them, not realizing they had a camera pointed at them the entire time from their own security system as well as 4 eye witnesses who took my side. Police just shrugged, told them to turn the music down, and left. This is a cucked state so I expected worse. They then tried it again later on which resulted in more or less the same situation except I didn't need to call the police this time.
Now for some good news, I've been contacted by the local police department and long story short, several restaurants around the neighborhood are under what's essentially a light investigation or something, maybe just watched. The restaurant I've been dealing with this year has been especially noteworthy to them as they've received an "unusual" amount of noise complaints for such a new restaurant (they came in and started shit the same day they opened) so chances are they may keep the noise to a minimal level if I'm lucky. Chances are they told the police the classic "I understand" with an especially vigorous head bobble but never once confirmed they will actually keep the noise down, we'll see.
Hope this will be a happier New Year then previously thought.

EDIT: Soon as I post this I start hearing a faint club song, it's much quieter but for fuck sakes is one of them reading this thread that knows who I am? The timing is impeccable. If there is a God and thus Satan/Lucifer/whatever then these jeets are his minions.​

Can't seem to point this out to anyone either as their eyes will glaze over or they'll just call you a racist, they are illiterate and cannot be trusted with anything. A mountain of proof can be given to these people that they are just given these jobs and licenses to operate heavy machinery and vehicles as soon as they're smuggled in by the "usual suspects," no training or experiences required, and they'll still find excuses for them.
Once again I state "and people wonder why I'm racist and antisocial." Niggercattle suck.

I would like to wish everyone in this thread a full scale war between pakistan and india, though given the population amount in both shitholes, it's probably for the best to just hope for anti jeet immigration parties to gain traction.

The latter needs to happen first and then the former. And while we're at it, get rid of the ones they've let in already.

Jeets are a plague and the only reason their backwards ass belief system is even alive is because its artificially supported by the ((people)) who see them as ideal slaves... who are happily ignoring the undermining they do on the daily on top of the filth they produce.
