It's an animal rescue from India. The injuries the animals have are horrific, often left to rot before the animal ends up there. You see rescues from other countries dealing with neglect, injuries, etc. but never on this level. India seems to come right after China & Co when it comes to being hell for animals.

Does that compassion extend to animals or just to street shitters, rapists and other criminals?

Hell, IIRC there are so many street dogs in India that a whole new breed simply emerged from that population. And Jeets seem to care a lot about "living beings" apparently!

This article had me curious of the origin of the surname "jeet." I found that it's Hindi for "victory" or "conquerer." Well, "conquerer" would make sense since that particular demographic has "conquered" low-level, cheap outsourcing for various industries and companies. Now, it's a derogatory term based on their recent behavior. Good.

If India wasn't such a shitpoor country that it still has major food scarcity problems, it probably would have one of the highest obesity rates in the world due to jeets being conditioned from hundreds of years of experiencing frequent famines to store as much energy as fat as possible to prepare for the next famine, as well as the jeet aversion from any sort of physical activity or sport. Jeets in western countries are 90% skinny-fat to obese dysgenic weaklings that probably struggle with opening the cap of a plastic water bottle. As soon as a jeet stacks any paper at all, they expand like a baloon.

The curious thing was that Brazil wanted to become Whiter back then, and wanted Italians and people from Europe in general, and yet the Japanese would "have to make do". They were practically the late 19th/early 20th century version of today's Bolivians: Once they got in Brazil, they had to work hard to earn some form of land as none was offered to them, and the embassy offered little to no help.
