Fitting and telling how even the simple concept of communicating a number to someone for jeets involves jumping back and forth on basic shit which ensures the actual number remains hidden. Is the particular jeet you're talking to using one or the other? Or are they from a particular retarded part of India that uses something else entirely? I have a libshit friend that traveled to india in like the 70s and even though he witnessed people "washing" in the ganges while shit and dead bodies floated by, still insist that jeets are "hygienic". He also had GI issues the entire time back then and still has rose colored glasses on.

I'm gonna disagree with this one. My past job required me to do liaise with Chinese clients on the spot, the last thing I need is one extra or missing zero. It has consequences. Chinese is my second language so they're forgiving. I mistranslated one million as 一億 once and 十萬 as ten thousand once, both would have caused issues if I didn't ask for a moment to bring out a notepad. One was obviously wrong but the other was the quantity of some small medical parts so both 10k and 100k was sound. Being 10x off would have completely fucked us over. I wouldn't even say it's incorrect, a Cantonese colleague recommended doing it. I learned it from him.

Luckily most of them are pretty fluent in English nowadays and shit's done entirely through email/teams. I also don't work there anymore. I think I whined about it here before. They got enjeetified after COVID.

I'm hoping that I get into a PhD program that isn't at my current university if only to get away from the pajeets/pajeet descendants in my department. Genuinely some of the vilest, least reliable people I have ever met. I made the mistake of thinking that my issues working in the hotel industry were isolated, but goddamn these people will exploit anyone they meet.

No, I should not have to explain to you that it's unprofessional to get someone to cover your shifts every other week. No, I should not have to explain to you that it's inappropriate to take pictures or videos of people without their consent. No, I should not have to explain to you to shut the fuck up when a professor is giving another graduate student feedback during a seminar. No, I should not have to explain to you why constantly telling me about the yaoi you bean-off to is unwelcome. No, lying about people in the department and getting caught out isn't a matter of "perspective." No, you don't smell good.

They obviously never heard the news about a British millennial couple years ago who believed that "evil is a make-believe concept" when they went to a hostile country and got killed for their stupidity.

Catching up on this thread reminds me of my former pajeet manager. I explained to her that, if she was going to schedule herself to be my relief after a night shift, then she would need to come in on time because I was risking falling asleep while driving on the highway. She then had the nerve to tell me that she had gotten herself into two car accidents already that year (mind you, this was early April) and tried to play it off like she was quirky and relatable.

A person who is just idealistic without doing the work contribute nothing but armchair activism within a normal society.
