• They don't neglect their elderly parents.

• Vegetarianism (unhealthy for the individual, but less polluting)

Nation

• Resisted nuking Pakistan.
• Didn't invade Sri Lanka even though the Indian minority were persecuted. (Though this might be weakness, they did annex Goa)
• Third-worldism, didn't submit to either superpower during the cold war.

In the material world though I don't care and I see no redeeming quality of the jeets that warrants any empathy towards them. India was one of the ancient cradles of civilization. Ancient Indian culture was pretty cool (besides the caste system), but something about the advent of the modern age corrupted them completely. I believe one of the main factors (again besides the caste system) was the Indian population absolutely exploding during the 20th century and overwhelming their infrastructure, government, etc. India has as many people as China but only a third of their landmass. Modern Indian culture is the societal equivalent of a burnt-out, failed-to-launch former gifted kid.

I should clarify my post. Many Hindus still do eat meat, it's just non-bovine meat. Lamb and goat are popular choices, beyond chicken and fish. I'm pretty sure they'll eat pork too

The Indus Valley peoples might not have been "white" in the modern sense, perhaps they had darker features.
