I don't think I've thought about the Irate Gamer in 17 years. Him becoming a ghost hunter is so out of left field compared to the unfunny AVGN clone I remember, I don't even know what to think. I read the thread and I'm still wondering how he ended up here.

it's not about ending up, he was always a weird ghost schizo, and ghost doctor has been a thing for years, it was just obscure because it's a niche subchannel that isn't really advertized belonging to some washed up guy who was moderately popular 15 years ago.

It looks like the TRUE and HONEST medallion to me, handcrafted by the hands of the goddess Jesus Christine Sonichu Prime, you can see the difference between Chris's/Praetor's medallion and the FALSE and DISHONEST medallions made by Geno, Geno's medallion looked way too smooth on the edges and surfaces, while Etsy's had a bit more rougher look to it.

I'm not looking forward to him using the "possessed medallion" angle to ultimately absolve people like Chris (Chan) of things they did while in possession of one. He seems to peddle the idea that people's negative thoughts, feelings and behaviours can be attributed in some way to spirits, not unlike some Chrsitian interpretations of things like alcoholism. One wonders if he has done something really horrible and uses this logic to suggest it was out of his control from the beginning.

Chris is great because he is such an old school type of insane internet person. Something about him feels straight out of 20 years ago. More harmless than the modern internet people imo. If anything the ghost hunting is more old-fashioned than the AVGN clone stuff.
