The Irishman - Goodfellas meets the Uncanny Valley

This looks awesome. Granted the trailer isn't that amazing but I bet the movies gonna kick ass

I’m going to give some love to a Scorsese film that is sometimes overlooked because it’s very different than his usual fare, and that’s Hugo. A visually stunning tribute to the movies and imagination. And The Wolf of Wall Street is a completely nuts comedy.

Liam Neeson better be in this.
When does it come out?

I'm all about it.

Disappointed in the lack of Harvey Keitel and Stephen Graham in the trailer.

I consider this to be the third part of his mob trilogy starting with Goodfellas. Looks fucking amazing.

What about Mean Streets, Goodfellas, and Casino?

I have a feeling this is gonna be one of Scorsese's worse films (though that isn't as bad as it sounds, man has an excellent track record), the only actor I feel remotely nostalgic for here is Joe Pesci, and the uncanny valley effect is kinda fucking with even that.

I will still watch tho, with a healthy dose of Goodfellas/Casino planned for afterwards.

Trying to sell geriatric midget DeNiro as a badass just does not work. Another Italian-style gangster muck from Scorcese? How adventurous! How very tired the whole thing looks. I thought Silence would be his worst since Casino, but this is looking to like it might one-up them all. The Netflix curse strikes again.
