I understand it's not for everyone, and there's definitely some people that take it too far. As long as it's safe, consensual, and that it stops the second someone isn't into it, it can be a cool "once in a while" thing.

But once people break out gimp masks, singapore canes and other really fucked up shit, yeah, fuck right off.

Another thing I can't get into is humiliation. I had an experience with a really fine (and wild) ebony lady and while I definitely had fun, some of the things she wanted me to say... damn. Safe to say we didn't hook up a second time.

I don't find it arousing or interesting in the slightest, but I know a couple people who are into being tied to the bedposts and 'teased/pleasured' by their partner. @Above replies: I can understand if someone enjoys some of the really mild aspects of it. The abuse and slavery simulation that BDSM enthusiasts are into are into is one of the least arousing things you can do. I think anyone who’s into sex so much that they make it into a community/lifestyle/central part of their identity as opposed to just something they do and like then they’re re definitely going to have issues.

Maybe not a specific kink, but close enough.

Among certain communities--especially those related to polyamory, though this mindset exists elsewhere--there seems to be this idea that it's a god-given right, or even a need to explore every sexual idea that comes to mind. It's not enough to have a fantasy, they'll seek to make it real at great cost to personal relationships and stability. It's hard to take people like that seriously.
