the middle east is full of gross sand niggers and jews. most of the time i would ignore a dark continent such as africa or europe but the middle east is where jesus was born so therefore it is the holy land and we need to take it away from savage mongoloids.

my first act would be to hack into israels nukes and destroy cities useless to our cause such as mecca, ankara, baghdad, tehran, etc etc. then funding a holy army of christians around the globe to mop up what is left. we would convert anyone we could to induct into our army and send those who resist to god

Rate me optimistic here, but I genuinely think if America ever really had a mind to - if Trump or somebody just went, "Y'know what? Fuck it!" - they could probably easily destroy the entire Middle East in about four hours, then mop up the mess left behind in about a fortnight. The literal only reason they don't do that is because of the oil.

When that oil runs out, then I think things might start getting interesting. I think a lot of figures on the world stage who are in rather uneasy alliances with these regimes are going to be left thinking, "...OK, but now what do I need you for?"
I think the Arab states know that, which is why a lot of them are already trying to pivot to tourism-based economies, in my opinion, arguably too little, too late. I suspect that this is why Dubai is being shilled so aggressively to the West, because the Arabs are desperate to build up some additional capital and drum up Western good will. The problem that they have with that is that they're not really very good at it - they're aping an aesthetic that is desirable to Westerners, but that they do not really understand and seem to largely consider beneath them - the glamorous facade projected by Dubai is paper-thin and easily fractured, revealing the true authoritarian nature of the Arab world underneath, and frequently looks tacky, unoriginal and over-compensatory to non-Arab sensibilities.
