You know, let's put aside Neil Druckmann's clear hatred for the original game and its fans, and his enormous unwarranted ego leading to multiple masturbatory self-inserts. Let's put aside the useless FtM trans character or the "strong independent woman" built like a gorilla wearing a fridge. Let's put aside the studio having such a lack of faith in their playerbase that they made it so you can't shoot the Star of David. Let's put aside the hypocrisy of Sony going turbo prude and censoring every anime tiddy game while letting this travesty of a sex scene go through completely fine.
My biggest problem with this game's story is that the writing is just so fucking poor. There's all these stories you could tell about the apocalypse or its aftermath, but Neil decides to go with a shitty revenge story. I have played terrible free-to-play Korean MMOs that have told better revenge stories than TLoU2. Here's an easy tip - if you're trying to write a revenge story where the main message you want to convey is about how revenge is bad, you shouldn't let the revenge-taker (Abby in this case) completely get away with taking their revenge, suffering zero repercussions and getting everything they wanted to boat off into the sunset.
