The Last of Us Franchise - Because it's apparently a franchise now. This thread has been double-DMCA’d by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Shit versions of multiplatform stuff on PC is just par for the course now.

I'd sooner just use one of my consoles than spend my time fucking around with disabling this setting and replacing that dll in the other folder only to still get shitty performance because, for some reason, Game X doesn't like one of the components my PC uses.

Over 6k reviews on Steam and it's Mostly Negative lol
Here's a few:

The PC Port of TLOU1 is an absolute shitshow. Players have reported low frame rates, high CPU usage, texture issues, and even game crashes. Apparently, the PC port of the game was done by Iron Galaxy, which was also the ones that did the infamous Arkham Knights PC port. Also, it takes hours for the "Building Shaders" option, which seems to have been suspiciously added, to make players play the game for long enough to not be eligible for Steam refunds of the game.

The port was so poorly done, that even 3060 Tis struggle to maintain a good frame rate:

The game was also cracked Day 1, since the game doesn't have any DRM on it:

Apparently, in addition to Iron Galaxy doing the PC port, the game has a version of Oodle Decompression Library that has a VRAM memory leak. (Version 2.9.6) Some players have reported that either installing the version 2.9.5, or newer, DLL, seems to improve the frame rate noticeably. However, some people still have reported extremely high CPU usage, and game crashes, even after doing that fix.

And Naughty Dog apparently claimed to only know about these issues now, despite the game's release being 3 weeks delayed:

This isn't really that surprising, I heard that Naughty Dog lost 70% of its staff during the development of The Last of Us 2, and I imagine they have almost lost more since then. Even if they have any new replacements, it's all going to be people who are green, or contractors who just wanted Naughty Dog on their resume. The incompetence of the company has long since killed it, and you're just seeing the inevitable fallout of a company ran by people more concerned with pushing ideological filth over actually making something their customers want to buy.
I very much doubt a third entry will ever happen. Cuckman obviously despises video games as a medium and always wanted to be a Hollywood creep instead of a game developer.

Now that he has that I don't think he has any interest in making games.
I severely doubt Naughty Dog is ever going to make games again. The company has no talent and the only person with any name recognition, Cuckman, loathes games and gamers as you pointed out. They abandoned their old IPs, and ruined the only two that they were still giving any attention to for ideological reasons. It's the epitome of progressivism killing a company.

But TLOU Multiplayer game is 100% FOR SURE COMING GUISE

horizon and GOW were ok apparently. sega ports are usually pretty good too.

hire proper devs for proper amount of money and you get proper ports.
