The Last of Us Franchise - Because it's apparently a franchise now. This thread has been double-DMCA’d by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

It's just 40 hours of Abby sociopathically murdering everyone in her path in search of the last stock of Whey and Tren.
I wish that might actually be fun. There's a good chance this idea is better then whatever the new game is actually going to be about.

Please let it be TLOU3. I would love to see Druckmann run the series even farther into the ground while also potentially bankrupting Naughty Dog.
My thinking is it's just more repackaged desperation shit since this incompetent oaf nuked the game company and is leeching hard on the TV show since the first season was seen as pretty decent.

You know, looking back, being a The Last of Us fan really feels weird. The love I had for the first one keeps getting smaller by the year and now I sometimes wonder why I even enjoyed it in the first place. I guess because the first game is when this franchise peaked. Seriously, what good came after the first one? The DLC was, in retrospect, pointless kid lesbo drama and the less said about TLoU part 2 the better cue that classic scene of Joel getting golf-ed .

The countless articles written against anyone that has the slight negative opinion of Part 2 also didnt help. The fact that it became more clear that Druckmann was and still is riding on the writing talent of people far more creative than him didnt neither. And the series just being average at best (with one of its best characters being already dead and the rest of the ep is a pointless gay drama...noticing a pattern here?) also didnt neither.

So now, as we are, really feels like TLoU as a brand has fallen from grace. And you know what, maybe its for the better. Maybe it just all opened my eyes and made me see it was never that good to begin with, or at least the talent that made it good just isnt around anymore so whats the point?

The Virgin Neil Druckmann vs. THE CHAD HIDEO KOJIMA

To say anyone is better than Druckmann isnt saying much.

In ny case I just feel validated. I played it on the ps4 remake thing. I hated the gameplay so much that I lowered the dificulty to easy to be able to plow faster through it (I will openly admit I'm not much for shooters or stealth play). It also had the biggest of copouts of technically being an escort mission game where your escort is invisible and indestructible for the most part, guess they saw RE4 and decided they rather not even try.

The story itself was the oh so tired "what if MAN is the true monster" and the only thing that actually kept me invested was the Ellie and Joel relationship and the bonding moments they had.

I finished it and my first thought was "this is the fucking crowning achievement everybody jacks off to?! A season of the Walking dead with solid voice acting?". The only other game that I remember annoying me to such a degree and forcing myself to play it just to see if I was missing something was Death Stranding

It looks like Craig Mazin took lessons from Neil Druckmann in regards to damage control, as he made this response to people that criticize Episode 3 of the HBO Show:

Sure it did Mazin, ya hack. I mean Im not a fan of even the good parts of this series, but even I know how much better this part was in the game then it was in the show. The game was subtle with what it was doing, the show just made me hate Offerman even more than I did before.

And remember, Mazin was the same guy who wrote Scary Movie 4 and the Hangover 2 & 3. How am I supposed to take he and Druckmann seriously!?!

Wish you spoilered or added a /tw for that shit movie.

Did you forget that he works with Druckmann, someone who bled out every talent in Naughty Dog, there was no chance that Mazin wasn't gonna be any better.

You do know that I was already well aware of that a couple years ago, right?

My favorite part about the show was talking about it with normies and intentionally bringing up Pedro so i can say "i just really don't like him, especially in this role. He just makes me want to see him get beaten to death with a golf club" and see all the people not in the know look horrified at such a seemingly random inappropriate remark only for the gamers in the room to laugh and have to pretend its about something else.

Mazin and Druckmann are both doing damage control

"There wasn't enough anal in episode 3, i wonder if next season includes it again but with a woman"
