To be fair when people say zombies. They really mean something like Ghouls which is something that even the fallout tv show is going to use.

Having a bad guy entity that is based upon corrupting people and turning them evil or feral against their will is the appeal of the romero type zombies. It also looks like they're going to be used sparingly, so the bulk of the show will be the relationship between Joel and Ellie. They've really built up the fireflies to be way more militant than they were in the game, all the vehicles they're using are mothballed military vehicles with a good volume of pointy shit attached to them. You're more likely to see them more frequently as the pursuers than the clickers I wager.

I don't trust any trailer that Cuckman had a hand in given TLOU2's own trailer refusing to even bother showing how that game was going to be. I fully expect this to be a lie.

As for the hype, I can see it maybe doing okay at first due to having that parent to child dynamic; that usually works. At least it would until Cuckman's fart huffing arrogance ruins it. I could also see it doing like shit because of a lack of relative draw compared to other games, it's another zombie series and could be seen as a Walking Dead knock off, and I don't think fans are super hyped anyway beyond the botting and consoomer contents they carefully craft to fake hype.

The entire point of the fucking original is that the two characters bond over the bullshit they go through, with good fucking reason.

I remember when I played the game (and hated it for the most part, the Ellie-Joel dynamic is the only thing that kept me going) that killing the fireflies and getting Ellie out was the only right play due to how absolutely retarded they were presented as. Also, faggots act like if the fireflies by some miracle actually made an antidote, the fireflies wouldn't have become tyrants asking for snything and everything for access to it.

The apes got loose because the doctor running the experiments set them free and they bit him. After that, he ventilated himself. Also the Fireflies were already leaving when the apes were freed. The doctor was just dumb enough to spare the primates rather than eliminate them as a potential vector for more fungus bullshit. But that's the fireflies in general, fucking around and finding out.
